Game used to be fun. Now everyone is using recoil scripts or just straight aim botting. Got 3 notifications that my reports caused temporary bans. But they were only for 2 days? Not worth playing anymore.

I would never, ever recommend this game to anyone, ever. The controls are terrible and they make the game thoroughly unenjoyable. Anyone who says this game is great has their judgement clouded by nostalgia and should be ignored. Do not play this game unless you're comfortable with games that are only difficult because they're poorly made.

There is a lot of hate online about this game. I've even encountered people who tell me this game is ♥♥♥♥ without having played it. These people are basing their opinions on nothing but what a bunch of loud dorks on reddit are saying.

This game is awesome.

Granted, there are quite a few bugs that can be pretty annoying. That being said, nothing that breaks the game. It runs like ♥♥♥♥ but if you tweak a few of the graphics settings in the game's .ini, it runs a lot better. The workshop/camp building system has been refined and made more flexible in comparison to Fallout 4 but the controls can be a little cumbersome at first. The survival aspect of the game can be a little difficult to manage in the beginning but once you start doing quests and establish a camp, it ceases to be a hindrance and can actually be used to your benefit.

The atomic shop is a little bit of a ripoff but with Fallout 1st you get an amount of atoms every month that basically amounts to getting all the other features for free. Once you really get going in the game, having Fallout 1st will make your inventory and resource management MUCH easier. I'd go so far as to say that it's a necessity. I haven't played many MMORPG's in my life but the ones I did pay required a monthly subscription fee so I'm not grumpy about paying extra money per month for some quality of life perks in the game.

If you liked Fallout 4, you'll like this game even more. This is an improved version of Fallout 4. There isn't as much to the story or as many quests but it's a compelling game that is very fun to play. The amount of detail that they put into the world design alone is incredible. All the towns actually look and feel like they were real towns before the war. Wastelanders really upped the immersion factor and you'll experience lots of random events with NPCs. The amount of weapons and armor, along with the mods that come along with them, gives you tons of options.

If, for some reason, you haven't had the chance to try this game but have been curious, I'd recommend trying it out next time there's a free trial. It's very fun and if you liked the previous modern Fallout games, I would be surprised if you didn't enjoy this game.

Unfortunately, there are so serious issues with this game. The game itself is very fun but I've had to turn all my settings down to minimum and I still have serious lag with the sound and sometimes the game itself. I've been playing with no sound because it lags so much that it doesn't even continue to make sounds anymore. I'm running Intel i7 4790k, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, GeForce GTX 970 so there's no reason I should be experiencing the amount of lag that I am.
