The developers have made every possible choice to ♥♥♥♥ up the multiplayer at every opportunity. Refusing to re-use old classic maps that people have enjoyed playing for the past 20 years, refusal to add a dedicated ranked Slayer playlist (now it is too late, the population is too low to support an additional playlist). I have been playing Halo since Halo 1 and it is sad to see how far the franchise has fallen in such a quick period of time. 343i constantly make decisions that go against what the player base has wanted from the Halo series, claiming that they know better even after they release flop after flop, I hope the failure that Halo Infinite is finally lets them see that the community expects the bare minimum when it comes to Halo and not having simple playlists that have existed in the game for 20 years is unacceptable. Launching with what seemed like 6 4v4 maps, and only adding 2 or so since launch is pathetic, other companies figured this stuff out 10 years ago, all you needed to do was launch a user created content playlist and have players vote on the map at the end of a game, then if a map gets 90% upvoted add it to the other playlists, instead you slowly develop one map per year ensuring that the game dies and the franchise takes yet another blow that will lead the Halo community to finally giving up on this franchise.

I haven't played the campaign so I have no opinions on that, people seem to hate the monetisation system of the game but I never customise my character in multiplayer games so I cannot comment on that either. If you're excited to try the game's multiplayer I wouldn't bother wasting your time downloading, especially if you're a fan of Halo 1 through Reach, it is depressing to see what the game is now, although the game feels good to play and the base mechanics are all well created, the constant poor decision after poor decision makes you realise that the game will never get the features required to bring back the player base that has given up on Infinite, which is a shame.

A big improvement over the first game, if you enjoyed Rogue Legacy 1, this version is better in every way.
