As a bisexual female, I can say this game is thoroughly satisfying. 10/10.

This MMO is one of the best out there, both in terms of free MMOs and paid MMOs. Like other reviews have said, it's definitely not pay to win. Combat feels smooth and satisfying, interface is organized (and if it isn't, you can highly customize it to your liking,) and overall gameplay is really fun. Solo players like myself will find little difficulty in playing, and the community is very friendly if you ever do need help. If you are easily bothered by over-sexualization of characters, then this game will bug you to some extent (because obviously less armor means more defense!) I don't pay much attention to story, so unfortunately I can't give much insight on that.

Structure:
The game makes me feel like I'm drinking an iced frappe. It's smooth, refreshing, and just damn good. Everything is highly customizable so that you can bind anything anywhere, place any GUI windows anywhere, and and more. I myself am used to playing LoL where the status bars are at the bottom center, and sure enough I can not only move that down there, but also set the transparency of the map so it's not in the way. You can flow through everything you need quite well, which is good for people like me who don't bother reading quest texts. Everything simply feels good to use. Characters are also heavily customizable, I will spend half an hour or more fine-tuning characters and it's very satisfying. The learning curve for some of the enemies in the game can be a bit steep, however. I've gotten to points where I simply can't beat enemies and have to go elsewhere and grind a bit. This doesn't happen too often, and varies depending on what class you choose.

Combat:
When I am carrying a sword that is twice the size of my body, I think it should feel pretty friggin' heavy. In this game, it does. It's that healthy mix of Eastern-style MMO combat with realistic power. Magic feels magical and truely awesome as well. I can just imagine the pain I inflict with the spells I am throwing out. Combos feel especially fantastic, as the game will notify you of the next skill that you can chain which allows for some quick and powerful punches. Enemy attacks feel slightly less hurtful, but I suppose that makes sense considering you're meant to take on one after another and survive. Beware that it is very easy to miss skills, and it's screwed up combos before. I advise against playing one-handed, boys and girls. While the amount of skills you get is not on the level of WoW, there's still a lot to keep track of. I would say this game to be on the border of casual and mid-core.

Environment:
On max settings, this game is truely beautiful. I actually feel immersed in the TERA universe. Again, it's a perfect mix of realism and fantasy. Ambient lighting, crisp breezes, and swaying plants makes a flawless atmostphere that I can feel comfortable in. In contrast, being in enemy lands where the grass is rotting, the sky is red, and rumbling from all directions makes me want to get my quests done soon or else I might get eaten in a non-sexy way. NPCs don't feel too unique, though, as many of them share the same quotes and voices. Also the fact that the females insist on exploiting their jiggle physics constantly tends to ruin a serious atmosphere. This is where the sexualization comes in. I question how some armor even stays on when I'm just running. However, the males show quite a bit as well in some armor. Shirtless men is no comlaint of mine.

FTL is what you get when NetHack has sex with EVE Online and have the resulting child be a straight-A student attending a six-year college with a major degree in kickassery.

PROs:
+ More addicting than salad made from weed and crystal meth seasoning
+ Tons of replay value (owned this game for years and I am still playing it)
+ Races are in-depth and interesting, with their own percs you can utilize
+ High reward for making correct decisions
+ Controls are fluid and feel easy to use
+ Free DLC added even more addictive stuff to smo- I mean play
CONs:
- Random generation can lead to some frustrating situations or game-ending effects (the wrath of the RNG)
- Quite difficult to plan ahead (RN-Jesus will not save you)
- Difficulty curve is very sharp (the boss will ♥♥♥♥ you up <3 )

Remember those little fridge magnets you used to play with pretending they were space ships? That's this game, but better.

Of all the space, building, sandbox, and customizable games I've played, this one is way up in my top favorites. For those who love to be creative, this game is a must-get.

PROS:
+ Full customization of ships and stations, shape by shape. This is a huge plus for those who love to build things from the ground-up.
+ Ship building is very well structured and stable. Rarely are there frustrating moments where blocks don't do what I want.
+ Semi-open world (the world loops, but you can travel to new maps too.)
+ Nice graphics & well-built. Nothing too fancy, but still fitting. This game isn't too demanding in general, in terms of hardware.
+ Easy to get the hang of. It doesn't take too long to figure things out.
+ Forgiving gameplay. If you die, you lose all your resources that you were carrying, but if you're nearby enough, you might be able to rush back to pick it up.
CONS:
- Frustrating at times. There will be times when you have those "BS" moments, and indeed, it gets rather annoying sometimes.
- Trial-by-fire learning curve. I advise against going to the center of the map until you're at max build limit...
- Full customization. For those who aren't able to commit to building your entire ship, there are only a few pre-made ships available at the start. Again, for me, this is still a Pro, but it depends on what games you're into.

I've lost weight irl to this game because I literally forget to eat.
