Yakalanması, pişirilmesi ayrı bir vahşet.

Istakozlar, en savunmasız ve kaçma yeteneği en zayıf olan canlılardan biridir.

Bu yüzden, yakalanırken hiç karşı koymazlar.

Her canlının kendini savunma hakkı vardır.

Ama ıstakozların yok sayılır.

Öldürülüp pişirilirse, zehirli kanı etine bulaşır.

Bu yüzden canlı canlı haşlanarak kanındaki zehir yok edilir.

Normalde ses çıkaramayan ıstakozlar, kaynarken canları o kadar yanar ki kıskaçlarını şiddetle birbirine vurur.

Bu yüzden kıskaçları bağlanır veya arasına kum(a)ş konulur...
