After the 1.8 update, I'd say that I definitively recommend this game. There are some issues – like the DRS being way too overpowered and you being unable to tell your driver that you don't want him to pass that car in front of you right now for the sake of strategy – but the positive points make the experience worth. The 1.8 update solved one of the main issues with this game, which was the tyre degradation impact on lap times. Now, you can make some risky strategies, like pitting for a fresh set of soft tires, work. This game is worth right now and has the potential to become even deeper than titles like Motorsport Manager.

EDIT: Well, they wont support this game any longer. It is a fun game, but the potential has been lost.
