The game is amazing! Not only does the game not force you to go with the modern trend of microtransactions, but on top of that the developers of the game actually listen to the community.
The recent debacle with Sony highlighted the failure of the dev team to warn of the impending change, but once the community voiced their displeasure the dev team did what most other studios wouldn't have done. They actually listened and made right by the community that supported them.
Despite the drama caused by recent events it actually highlighted the fact that Arrowhead Studios is unlike any other developer team in the industry as they were willing to go toe-to-toe against a tech giant like Sony to take a stand alongside the gaming community.

I ran around the game holding people up at gunpoint

I stole their pants every time

I did this for hours

I amassed a monumental amount of pants

then a man with no pants held me up at gunpoint

he stole my tremendous amassment of pants

he then force-fed me disinfectant spray

I died

10/10 would steal pants again
