walk around with a character that looks like he shat his pants and die

Pain in the ass ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC not due to difficulty but design.
Get invitation to court, spend a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hour exploring and backtracking through the winding long labyrinth that is the way to the three Crimson Court bosses, run out of food, or get irrepairably stressed, abandon, get invitation again, do it again. and again. and again. Maybe finally finding the boss on the fourth try only to do the ENTIRE thing all over AGAIN for the next two bosses. Nothing fun, just endless repetitive fights and hallways ad nauseam until you want to kill yourself for having enabled it to begin with.

♥♥♥♥ this DLC I don't care how much lore, trinkets or whatever else it adds to the game.

I played 4 hours of this, beat all levels, minus China on extra lane difficulties + flawless. Because I gave up, not due to difficulty but due to how badly the game plays. I tried to really look past it, since it is a free game and really tries, but I couldn't.
The beat is almost always just slightly off, this could be fixed by adding a latency adjuster in the settings, but since that's not possible it makes it really difficult to get full points when switching lanes. Sometimes, especially on 150% speed, you just die on the lanes, for no reason, or if you aren't playing on flawless, you get a "spare life" but ironically at that speed that spare life comes and ends so abruptly you lose all sense of rhythm in the game and die as soon as it ends.
Again, on high speeds, sometimes keys don't register properly, or register twice, making you jump off a lane.
It does have nice music though.

This is a great game, thoroughly wanted to commit suicide during the last stage in level 9, but a great game.
