I wanted to like this, but I couldn't even get over the hour mark. There is nothing wrong with tab-target combat, when done right like so many other MMOs, but it isn't done remotely well here.

Sure, it has dialogue, which is rare for most MMOs, but it is again of poor quality.

Game is a one and done kind of deal, no real re-playability. Not really worth the money for the content available at present. If you want to give it a go, pick it up on sale.

For someone looking for some fun and engaging combat that makes you feel like an absolute powerhouse, this is the game for you. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of systems that can be confusing and are sometimes easy to forget. BUT with the change to seasons, it certainly favours the casual player more than previous, letting you get some pretty damn good gear whilst guiding you along the way.

TLDR: Game is a grindy mess with fun, varied combat. Classes are gender locked.

The game is absolutely beautiful at max settings, comparable to a Pixar film with the sheer fidelity. My only gripe, is that I completed it in about 10 hours, despite doing a lot of the side content.

The game just doesn't gel with me at all sadly... I know the game is in development, but it is missing so much in terms of explaining the basics I just can't recommend it in its current form.

The game is very pretty, and shows a lot of potential. I may well pick it up again when it is more polished.

Big fan of TES and Fallout, so I came into this game with big expectations. I just couldn't get into it, no matter what. So slow to start out, and I genuinely tried to give this a chance. I saw some people saying to get away from the main quest and focus on side missions, but I just didn't feel immersed or captivated in any way.

Honestly? I can't recommend this game. If you want a space exploration game, go play No Man's Sky. If you want to be bored to sleep, by all means pick this up.

Performance is awful. It should not have released in this state.

The game itself is fantastic, really enjoying just exploring the much larger worlds the team has created, but absolutely hating the performance. At this moment in time, DO NOT purchase this awfully performing game. For context, I'm playing with a R9 3950X and an RTX 4090 getting severe stuttering and awful average FPS, both with and without RT enabled and with/without FSR enabled.

Save your money, buy it on sale, or don your pirate hat. Don't support this developer until they get performance fixed.

I was not prepared for this level of story, genuinely fantastic game. There are obviously a few bugs - I just got stuck on the end credits, but it is otherwise a brilliant addition to the genre.

PTS is always interesting to play, especially for something so close to my heart as SWTOR, a game I've played since 3.0.

Personally, I love being able to play the new content and get people in my circle excited about some of the changes and whatnot, while making clear some of the negatives also.

My main gripe with PTS is that for many paying members it simply isn't accessible due to connection issues and whatnot, which for a paying customer simply isn't acceptable. Beyond that, there is no support given whatsoever to help those that genuinely want to test the new releases, which is a downright shame.

In closing, I do recommend PTS for those that can get on it, but each time there is an update be prepared for joy in new systems, upgrades etc. but also for confusion, sadness and anger if you run into any issues or the changes aren't to your liking.

Had high hopes for the game but my god it is just so unintuitive...

Requested a refund after 30 mins of gameplay, not a good look. I hope the game is a success, but honestly the tutorial is poorly executed to put it as politely as I physically can with how annoyed I am after playing this for just over half an hour.
