This is all I want to play now. Just this.

I was skeptical at first. The graphics weren't my thing, and I'm not too into Viking stuff in general.

Then I starting putting the pieces together, literally. I built my own little hut, learned the hard way that smoke from my camp fire needs a chimney, fended off a wave of animals sent by Eikthyr to destroy me, and discovered how to make flint tools. By then I was HOOKED.

This game is exploration, survival, building, crafting, adventure, and relaxation all rolled into one. It's no surprise it's sold so well so fast.

With friends, it's even better. Sharing a base with someone gives bonus purpose to your work. Having a lookout while you mine keeps both of you safe. Holding the line with a tower shield so your partner can drop your foes from a distance feels powerful.

It's just bad now.
