Very interesting, funny animated puzzle game.
It is quite short, but they seem to add new content. And the unique game experience is still worth it.

Probably my favorite game for just chilling after work. Titan A.E. vibes and great music.

The unique concept is the best of all!

I suggest people take in mind that this is a free demo, before leaving negative reviews. IMHO 44% negative reviews as of writing this is stupendious.
I for one don't care if the single dev use store bought assets - which seems to be THE major gripe for some reason.
The game could use more depth. E.g. I miss being able to build other than pre-fab buildings.
I also would really like to play this co-op with friends!

But all in all, I've been in early access games that were much worse than this.
I think this demo plays well.
Again the concept is very cool.
And the implementation, while certainly not AAA, surprised me positively.
With some tweaks I belive the final game will be worth my time and money.

This was my first choose-your-own-adventure game in digital format. And though it sparked my interest for many more, and several years have gone by, it is still one of my favorites.
It is a very good (and long) Wild West story, and importantly for this format, your choices really feel like they matters - i.e. it is reflected in the writing later.

One of the very best rpgs I've ever played.
Especially the world lore and the story is amazing, Such a unique and interesting setting.
Hope they get to make a sequel at some point!

Early Access Review
TLDR:
Either: buy it now to support the devs - and maybe even give constructive feedback to them, that have a real chance of affecting the end product.
Or: do not buy the rough, very early access game now, but save your money. See what happens in maybe half a year or even wait for launch.

I have the money to spare, and am very glad to support the devs. I come from Red Dead Redemption II, Grounded and Valheim, so this early access game is a rough start. But after trying it, I see the visions and possibilities and already enjoy important aspects of it.
On to a list of pros and cons that come to mind. Keep in mind alot of these things are subjective. And this is a very early access.

Cons:
- Very early access game.
- Small annoyances like not being able to interact with objects in the world not created by you, eg. a fireplace not set down by yourself. And not being told that I cannot interact with that canteen, because it's not unlocked yet. I think it would make the world seem more real, if I could interact with world objects like in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. If someone owned it, and didnt like me, they could come and tell me to leave.
- Animations of my character seem rough, not natural and fluid, for lack of a better description.
- Physics of eg. trees falling are quite bad. Sometimes they jump around.
- NPCs seem very static. I did not see any work/life-cycle like in Skyrim, e.g. shops that close at night etc.
- Graphics. Having seen new triple-A games in new gameengines, this is not there. But for me it is more of a nice-to-have. When I get caught up in gameplay, I don't notices the graphics, as long as they are decent/fine. Fluid gameplay and interface is much more important - just look at Valheim. And maybe it´s more the polishing of this, that I would need.

Pros:
- Story. The basics seem to be there, and more importantly sandbox with a storyline is perfect for me. Sometimes I want to spend inordinate amount of time eg. building. So not being forced along is nice. The RDR2 way that made it clear what I needed to do, to advance to next chapter - but leaving it up to me - was perfect.
- Landscape. While I put graphics as a con, the various landscapes are already very nice.
- Humor. Eg. the thunder buckets quest, and the lumberjacks.
- NPC personalities seem good and varied.
- The possibilities of building and creating communities etc.
- The possibilities of playing co-op with friends to build and expand.
- UI (hud) is well designed. Visualizes alot of info, without feeling intrusive.
- It's the Wild West!! With alot of the things I wished I could do in RDR2, but can not.

Final note, I see alot of talk about performance issues, but I have none (I'm on a 3080 10gb, with Ryzen 5900X and 32 gb system ram).

Best game I've played for many years. Probably in top 3 games of all time (and I'm over 40 ;)
And love that it has co-op multiplayer!
Now I'm hunting for the movie "Honey, I shrunk the kids", to take me back to my childhood even more :)

I got the package with all three games, and are really enjoying the sandbox way to approach the world.
