they fixed most of the game's problems so it's in a good state right now, only real complaint is 30fps in cutscenes/krypt, bu there's a mod out there to fix that. funny how they waited until the game was fixed to put out the steam store banner tho lmao

anyone who complains about the microtransactions in the game has no clue what they're talking about since time krystals are only used for the shop, not the krypt so it doesn't take 6000 hrs to unlock everything, especially after the latest update which made koins a lot easier to get

there were a LOT of issues to complain about initially (late release compared to other platforms, crashing, online connection issues/dsync, ToT in general, weird antialiasing, moves being out of date, random things not working, etc) and it's a little messed up that they released the game in it's initial state. i can't imagine that there would have been so many issues if they did ANY playtesting whatsoever

but yeah, the game is good now. fantastic gameplay, well made story mode despite some... questionable writing, probably the best fighting game tutorial ever, lots of stuff to unlock. moral of the story is don't preorder nrs games on pc lmao

Disregard everything that says it's Free to Play, because trust me, you are going to spend at least several AAA games worth of money buying keys, unboxing, getting pissed off you got a strange Crit-a-Cola instead of a shiny unusual, wising up, and using your keys to buy wonderous cosmetics so you can have a Soldier that looks like a drill sargeant or a racially offensive Demoman. Although these cosmetics don't have any impact on your play (according to Valve, at least; some believe they make you better at the game, myself included), they have an impact in the real world; you entering a dark downward spiral in which you feel obligated to spend all your dosh on pixels in the hopes someone on Gorge will tell you "nice hat". It's like a black hole in that once you enter, you can't turn back. Your life is forever ruined, and you are a hollow husk of your former self.

It's a phenomenal experience, 10/10.
