If you enjoyed the originals, sure, it's pretty and there are some good QoL improvements..

BUT, It's NOT Red Alert 2 and Tiberium Sun - the vastly superior installments in the series.

For real, why didn't they remaster those instead?

It's the best at what it does, simply put.

Gives you a great feeling physics engine and all the tools to play.. whatever. Tabletop, boardgames, card games, storytelling, whatever.

The movement/combat takes a LOT of getting used to, but once you get comfortable with it, the physics aspect of combat adds a TON of realistic action to the experience. Stepping inside an axe's swing to catch the haft, canceling an enemy's stab by blocking the wrist, shouldering an opponent over a hazard.. it's fantastic.

There's so much potential for a great game, I really hope the dev takes it to the finish line

It's in early development, but it's still jam packed with Mount+Blade sandbox rpg goodness.

Janky as all get-out, but that adds to the charm. (There are plenty of great gameplay mods out there already!)

I hate to say "Souls-Like", so I'll say it's a perfect representation of competitive Arena Shooters like Quake 3 in a single-player game.

Once you embrace the resource management concept, you'll be hooked in to the most fun you'll ever have fighting for your life.

Try out harder difficulties and let the game kill you a few times - learning how to overcome is a major part of the experience.
