The shooting is great. Some of the monetization stuff has been rough, but it seems to be better lately. Beyond Light has added some cool new mechanics and the latest round of content is very well designed. It's great if you just happen to have some free time you can run around and just shoot things while listening to a podcast or chatting with friends. It also has certain elements you can really dive into, namely raids (and the challenges associated with them), master and grandmaster ♥♥♥htfalls, and competitive pvp (and Trials of Osiris). It's not without its problems, and it is nowhere in my list of favorite games. It is, however, a consistently fun experience.
