PROS: I love the game really! the creature design, the environment, also the music design is such beautiful thing in it's own way (they gave me chills even there's nothing and only "there"). I'm super invested in the story and the meaning behind.


CONS: BUT i think this is the problem started. I love all the symbolism for the sake of story-telling, and i really like the concept of show-don't-tell, but in this case, THERE'S a little bread crumbs to begin with. i mean, you probably understand the basic plot about the sister and the MC, i mean you can even guess it just for 5 minute in the game. But, there's also sideplot that you have uncover so you feel completed, BUT THE CLUES IS ALMOST NON EXISTENT. wdym there is (spoiler alert) hidden rooms and doors that will help you had a better grasp for the bigger story? It's amazing, i know. i love puzzle and all, but the clues. just a tiny clues or any foreshadowing about the hidden door or something? i think notes will help for a bit clue. I LOVE this game because there's not much notes to read nor diary, BUT i think a few scrap a paper here and there about easter egg (or anything really not just a paper, a graffiti could help too?) probably helpful for the first timers. (because i had to search a walk through just to find so many things that i left out because it had so little information about) Although i still got the true ending for first time playing blindly.

well, that's my biggest issue on the writing. The symbolism like "Eye" and "Mouth" its pretty intriguing but we never know what it means unless you search it on google, that's why the factory arc is really interesting as concept, but story-wise kinda confusing.

Also my BIGGEST ISSUE : THE FREAKING BOSS BATTLE. i think my suggestion is make the boss battle like The Faith Game Unholly Trinity. On the last chapter, The Last Boss battle used all the technique from ALL the previous battle, it's good. I LOVE IT the way you implemented them also. BUT GOSH the autosave only active on the first phase. So if you died on the last phase? good. NOW BACK TO THE FIRST ONE. It's pretty exhausting to do all that from the beginning only to get NOT SO COVERED Ending (just a scene that you already predict since the first time you play the game) because you have to do all the stuff that was hidden (with little bit clues or information to start). Try implementing struggle/recovery button but with the balance of Make the boss harder. so it's not that we died but we can't struggle TO LIVE AGAIN. or just make the autosave get you back to the phase you died.

That's all for me, I LOVE THE GAME but there's few icks that i have Nevertheless i'll play the game again and try to complete it in proper way (open the hidden room etc.) good luck for your next project <3
