Kenshi is weird and interesting. It definitely takes some getting used to, and it's frequently buggy or the physics will behave strangely or it will take a long time to load map resources, but the meat of the game is something special. The open ended nature of the sandbox means there are lots of ways to play, and you are never really limited to any one play style. Even within the same save file you can be training a solo martial arts master while setting up, running and defending an outpost in the wilds of your own design, while managing a legit trade caravan or a group of drug smugglers. The world is beautiful and wild and full of competing factions and incredible creatures. 100 hours in and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of what this game has to offer.

You have to play this game. You need to play this game. Don't look up anything about it online. Go into it with as little knowledge as possible. I know it's $20 and that's not cheap, and the game will only take you a few hours to complete, and it's probable that you will never play it again, but still, please play it. Take your time with it. Turn off the lights, turn up the sound, and get involved in it. It is absolutely worthwhile. Seriously, stop reading this and play it.
