MMO FPS seems like a genre of games that is yet to flourish in the future. Planetside is a good start to this genre and highly reccomended trying it.

The game is a thousand times more fun once you join a good Outfit that knows how to coordinate as a team amongst the large and beautifual maps.

I have now clocked more hours into Civilization 6 than Civilization 5. Honestly I prefer it more than 5 for a variety of reasons.

-Multiplayer is more streamlined. My friends can place pings for me, they can save the game without being the host etc.

-The district system allows for more strategic play as you cannot spam wonders on one tile anymore. Now you need to carefully plan where you want to build your district buildings. Eg it's better to place campus/university near mountains and better to place industrial zones/factories near mines and quarries.

-Polished mechanics from Civ 5. No more spamming builders to build roads and now traders build roads just by travelling instead.

-Exploring feels more fun and adventerous as the map expands. The background map looks like cool
drawings of old fashion scrolls.

-Added the civics tree which is the tech tree for culture.

-Culture victory makes more sense and easier for newer players to learn.

-Religious system was overhauled and feels fresh and also easier to understand for newer players.

-Government system allows for more planning. Also certain governments benefit other playstyles. For example choosing Theocracy lets you spend faith (religious points) to purchase military units.

-Military units can merge into corps and armies again. No more army clutter.

-Eureka bonuses, era score points and emergencies from the expansion Rise & Fall give the player more activities to complete during times of staleness and boredom.

-City state interaction is better and players fight for diplomacy over which city state will be their ally.

-Loyalty system from the Rise & Fall expansion prevents players from spamming cities everywhere. If a city loses loyalty from nearby cities they lose control of the city.

-Strategic resources are more streamlined and you only need one copy of each strategic resource majority of the time. In Civ 5 you would spend 1 strategic resource per 1 unit you produce with that resource. For example using iron to produce a swordsman.
.
-Happiness is now called 'Amenities' and it's condensed to the amenities for each individual city. One copy of 1 luxury resource gets distributed to four cities. Extra copies can be easily traded.

Hope this review helps!

Don't waste your time. The developers abandoned the game after they partnered with Bandai Namco.

Early Access Review
Smash brothers for the PC, very fun and free. Easy to play with friends. Has more depth as you learn about the game too. Plenty of characters for replayability.

This game is just a Supreme Commander clone, don't buy it and play that instead.
