so far this is my favourite source of depression

this game truly feels like they put the control scheme on the bottom of their priorities. visually this game is great, most of the voice actors deliver a good performance, etc. the controls are some of the worst i've experienced with a lego game.
this new mechanic they've added where the characters try to grab the edges of platforms and such, breaks the ability to double jump onto them in some instances. i have not finished the Rise of Skywalker episode yet, because i am physically unable to get to an area in the deathstar ruins. alongside that, the combat in this game feels a little clunky but i can understand that it might be user error, since the mechanics are so vastly different to previous games, but it's still worth mentioning.
Overall, yes this game is fun and most of the time it's well worth the purchase. but when a game gets to a point of breaking itself it makes it hard to recommend. if you're ready for the possibility of struggling with some janky platforming, i still say go for it

this game gave me ptsd. i've not been the same since.
sometimes i still see the tetris level when i go to sleep... the screams of my friends as one persons death led to the Ragnarok.
so yeah it's pretty fun

Great by yourself, even better with friends

so much potential for fun, the fact that almost the entire game consists of user-created addons makes it such a great experience

Such a fun game, GTA Online is great for playing with friends and the story mode is filled with fun and action

The customisation options are great, you can design pretty much whatever character you want.
But that doesn't make up for the poor gameplay and controls

Barely worked. Took me nearly 2 hours just to get into a game. Controls were stuck in Playstation format and I couldn't change it.
