I wish I could leave a neutral review. I admit I am enjoying this game, but the amount of content behind a paywall is ridiculous. Bus lanes, recycling centers, both pretty normal things to find in your average city. But to own both of these, I would have to purchase two seperate DLCs. Ridiculous and not something that we should support.

Can't be bothered to explain how to play your game? Then I can't be bothered to learn by trial and error. Refunded.

Really enjoying this so far. Happy to have supported the dev on IndieGoGo.

Some of my (completely unqualified as i'm just some randomer on the internet!) recommendations for features:

I can't seem to find an efficient way to manage crew. Some of the functionality that I would love would be to be able to:
- Quickly cycle between crew members, e.g. with page up/page down keys etc.
- Have some sort of improved "crew overview" option, the current one isn't great.
- In the crew overview option, be able to see where each crew member is assigned (e.g. unassigned, weapon slot 1, shield generator, bridge etc). Have an option to jump to them quickly.
- Be able to group crew members into teams, e.g. for quick selection for your designated "fighters" to send them to kill enemy on your ship.

I'd like to be able to rotate components. I tried to set up my fuel tanks symetrically either side of the engine, but one was oriented horizontally and the other vertically. Small thing I know, but drove me mad!


I could well be being stoopid, and some or all of the above suggestions are already implemented and I just haven't found them of course! :-)

Good job dev, looking forward to seeing this game improve. Will update this post with further recommendations as I play through.

Very enjoyable game, and look forward to trying out the new Stasis mode!

3.6 hours in and I am loving it - so far I feel this is everything DayZ should have been. The devs seem proactive and engaged with the community (despite your usual horde of whinging about Day 1 EA bugs). Really looking forward to seeing how this develops.

If you buy any game today, make it this one. As you can see by my playtime I've got a decent experience out of my £20ish, in retrospect would happily pay more.

I recommend this... very hesitantly. I think there's still quite a way to go.

The premise is pretty cool, and is why I backed this game on Kickstarter. However, several aspects about it ruined it for me very quickly (as you can see by my playtime).

- Gameplay feels VERY slow. Everything from the events taking a while to occur, to the camera movement (even with maximum camera speed in settings).

- The camera is just plain annoying and needs reviewing by the dev ASAP. My camera should not still be moving 1-2 seconds after I release the directional key. Dev has tried to do something fancy, but it doesn't work. I want the camera to stop moving the instant I take my finger off the key, not when it eventually runs out of momentum after travelling around the world twice. And as previously mentioned, it moves way too slow.

- Feels like I want to zoom out a touch more. When I struggle to fit the whole house on my monitor (a 2k widescreen), it feels like everything is just way too close to my face.

- The camera zooming to each room when I click on it to perform an action is annoying, meaning I have to zoom back out every.single.time...

- Might just be me but doesn't seem excellently optimised. Only getting 30-40fps and my PC sounds like it's about to take off with GPU temps at the maximum. This is on a decent gaming rig that can handle most AAA titles with high settings.


Overall though i'm still recommending it, as it has the bones of an awesome game. I just don't have the patience to play through the issues above - i'd love to remove them from my review if the dev decides to implement any changes,

As many reviews have already stated, it is a buggy mess. This game has been on my wishlist for some time as I love the concept of it, and I was extremely excited to receive this as part of Humble Bundle. However, I can't get past the tutorial due to a number of bugs (including one which completely scrambled the text that was meant to act as my instructions?!).

I'll come back to this in a few months in the hope that it's still being actively updated by the devs to fix all of these issues. Fingers crossed I can change my review then.
