Lizardmen, Skaven and a boat load of Elves! What more could you want? Better than the original and I say that as a huge fan of the first Total Warhammer. Just wait until both maps are combined and watch your social life be banished back to the realm of chaos! Lets add some skulls to that skull throne.

Holy nut balls this game blew my socks off! Super simple to learn while also being deceivingly difficult and what I can only describe as divinely frustrating. I've never been more happy to have my units ambushed by militia or to lose a supply convoy to a series of IED's. Every unit counts and each loss is felt. The game requires constant micromanagement to keep your units in the field resupplied with rations and ammo, which have to be resupplied separately, which takes up far more time and resources, requiring whole convoys of supply trucks or multiple helicopter deployments. This creates a constant intensity rarely felt in a turn based game. Basically on every turn some unit somewhere is going to need support. This gives each turn meaning even if there are no enemies encountered. Which brings me to the most fascinating part of this game. How it manages to successfully convey the complexity and the feeling of frustration that comes with fighting a war between a global super power like the U.S and a guerilla army like the Taliban. It also happens to make each game a 60 turn thrill ride of turn-based wargame bliss.

All in all its an over simplified version of HoI3 and the AI leaves a lot to be desired, ie. poor or nonexistent amphibious invasions, illogical or self destructive navel and air strategies and endless wars in Sub-Saharan Africa. That last will drive you mad, although with patches the AI (at least in some areas such as navel battles) has improved. All that being said I am still a huge fan of the game. It looks great and even though it is more bare bones then HoI3 was, especially with the DLC, it's still a lot of fun. Considering both the + and - I would still recommend this game, especially for any military strategy fans, if you're so inclined wait a few months for a sale and what will be a continuous stream of DLC and subsequent free updates.

I have played every single fallout game that has every been released on PC. The original Fallout was a life changing experience for me. It was the first PC game that I dove into full force dedicating weeks of my childhood to taking out the master and his super muties. It was the reason I fell in love with PC gaming and has shaped the past 18 years of my life. So it is with a sad and heavy heart that I say Fallout 4 is one of the most disappointing games I have ever played, I guess that's the problem with having such a profound legacy, it makes any successor subject to comparison, which I accept is not always fair and that relatively speaking Fallout 4 isn't a terrible game. However, it is NO Fallout in the traditional since of an rpg. Fallout 4 is a First-person action adventure game akin to the Farcry series with a mix town building thrown in set in a Fallout esqui setting. What disappointments me the most is that Fallout 3 and New Vegas successfully took the best elements of the original isomorphic turn based simulator and modernized it into a action/rpg with great story and dialogue options. For Fallout 4 bethesda decided to piss on that success with an idiotic attempt at a voice protagonist and a story so cliché and predictable it would make Michal Bay cringe. Fallout 4 is a travesty and although I will continue to check back on the game periodically to look for improvements or to try out new mods I can't help but feel that this sorry excuse for an rpg has diminished its predecessors in some way. One thing is for certain the legacy of Fallout will change I just hope it survives. Bethesda you kicked my dog man, not cool.

In one fell swoop Overkill has ruined what once was one of my favorite games. No reason to explain further. ♥♥♥♥ you Overkill, hope your happy you've destroyed any customer loyalty you've had left. Maybe you'll learn when all those positive reviews go negative but probably not because hey ♥♥♥♥ the consumer as long as you're getting paid right?

I rarely write reviews but Jedi Outcast is without a doubt one of my top ten favorite games of all time. Me and a buddy bought this game back in 02'. I had never played any other Jedi knight title prior to Jedi Outcast and as a Star Wars fan I had high expectations. The game did not disappoint, it was, and still is, a fantastic experience. Not only is it a excellent Star Wars narrative but the gameplay is superb too. I loved trying to take out a reborn using the wookie crossbow in 1st person then instantly switching to 3rd person to finish the job with a forcepull and a heavy swing of my lightsaber. As someone who has been a serious pc gamer for over 20 years I hope you'll take my word that this game is worth every penny.
