Overall the game seems pretty good. It's a very grim game which attracted me to it in the first place. However! I have custom built rig that should be able to more than handle this game but when the enviroment contains alot of enemies, the game becomes choppy and very hard to play. My graphics card is a 4Gb AMD Radeon R9 270X; my guess that this game is optimized for nvidia cards and doesn't play well with other chipsets. This the only reason why I wouldn't recommend the game. I don't feel like its been fully optimized by the developers.

The game is great when you can play but the server set up is complete garbage. Hosting is also a pain and not a out of the box solution. It requries the opening of ports in your firewall and making sure any nescessary ports are forwarded in your router. I still can't get this game to work well. I got into one game by randomly choosing a server but I don't know how thats going to work in the future seeing how GameSpy is shutting down in the end of May 2014. I've heard about a lot of people having fun with this game but for me it is probably the worst $10 I've spent in a while.

I love this game! I was surprised how addicting this game is and how strategic you have to be. I found myself reviewing the game’s wiki page in the middle of an era and trying to plan out my villages as best as possible. I would even write down the best combinations of plants and animals within a little booklet so that I could reference it during gameplay. I first played Reus at a friend’s house which caused me to purchase the game for myself. It has a very similar experience of Sims but you don’t have to dedicate nearly as much time. Eras are only 30 to 120 minutes long, thus limiting you to how much time you need to put into a civilization. I would give this game a 10/10.

I bought this game to play with a friend. I was hesitant at first to play it but I quickly warmed up to it. Because this game doesn’t have full controller capabilities it was a little hard to figure out how to play with my XBOX controller. It took me about a day to get use to blocking and attacking with the triggers. It would be nice see Torn Banner Studios implement options that would ease players who typically play on a console. The quality of the game is very nice especially if you can play on high settings. I get mixed results playing on my mobile workstation but that isn’t the fault of the game but instead my hardware. I received the expansion pack (Deadliest Warrior) as a birthday gift. I like that they added different types of characters but I feel like it takes from the medieval aspect of the game. My final criticism is that the achievement progress in the game is inconsistent. Some servers seem to inhibit the unlocking of more weapons and the total time logged playing is much less than the actual. Despite all of my criticisms, I am still really happy with this game and enjoy playing it with friends. I would definitely recommend it to a person who is looking for only a online playing mode and who enjoys a first person armed warfare. Overall I would say an 8/10.

My favorite game so far on Steam. I bought this as bundle during a Steam Fall 2013 sale and I've been playing it on and off since then. Although the fighting was really well done, my favorite part of the game was just walking around and solving the Riddler challenges. I needed a little help solving the last riddle at the end of the game but I managed to find all of the trophies and solve all the other riddles by myself. I would definitely recommend this game to friend.
