Solid game

not even an hour in and my game crashed twice. not to mention very buggy fullscreen issues. Good game but not worth 30 dollars unless the bugs get fixed

good game if it didnt have cheaters and a monthly town hall I would have probably 200-300 extra hours

(SPOILERS!!!!) This masterpiece of a game is probably the best game I've ever touched in a long time; the story and writing are amazing and lovely. The story made you feel like you were actually Arthur, and the scenario was a real one that endured hardships between the gang; as such, the fall of the gang was sad and hurtful to watch, and there were other great moments where we witnessed the hanging of Colm O'Driscoll. The continuation of John Marston recently, after we witnessed one of the saddest ends to a beloved protagonist, was the only complaint I had. Everything else is amazing, including the gameplay; I had no problems with it except for some shots that 100% should have hit, but there are more times when I shouldn't have, so it really balanced itself out. One of my favorite moments of this game was the attack on the Braithwaites. There are so many things in this game that make it a movie that it isn't even enough to list them here, but here are some:
The atmosphere feels amazing and smooth, and I could watch 10 days pass by without getting bored of the map.
The story feels realistic in a way; a group of outlaws gather up to gain as much money as they can, with every side character having life into them, a specific mission, and other lifelike aspects.
The journal feature is probably one of the best details in this game. It really shows that Arthur is a human with human emotions like compassion and care; there is a new journal every time a little thing appears. For example, when Mary left and sent a goodbye letter to Arthur, there is a journal entry detailing Arthur's frustration. There is one last thing I would like to add to this review: this is one of the only games that actually made me cry upon Arthur's horse and himself. The emotion he gives when the bonding level is maxed out, the sunset for Arthur is top level, and it shows deeply what the game is about: Arthur redeems himself rather than being a murderer. I would heavily recommend anyone with the money to try it; trust me, you will make your money worth it. This game is amazing.

TLDR:
Red Dead Redemption 2 is the best game I have ever played, and you should play it too.
