me fish, me fish now

dude seriously this game is amazing. Even if you're just hanging out, it's got a great soundtrack once you stack up monsters. It is kind of slow to start and I honestly had trouble getting a hang of it for a while, but imo it's worth figuring out. I went from barely understanding what the "goal" was, to starting to wake up Wublins, kicking butt in the Collosingum, and collecting tons of rares. I'm having tons of fun.

The only big downside about this game is the mobile game is NOT connected to this one at all. It's not like Bloons where you can continue your game on your phone or vice versa. The mobile and the Steam versions are entirely separate and if you wish to play this on the go you either will need to use Steam Link or get a Steam Deck (or another handheld that runs Steam). Just fyi in case that's a deal breaker for you.

If you like anything in the vein of genetics, animals, biology, animal breeding simulations - there's a big chance you'll like this game. I'm the kind of person that loved making weird dogs in Sims 2 Pets and Wobbledogs scratched that itch for me.

This game is so amazing, especially for the sale price that it's going for right now. Tbh this is one of those rare games where I feel like I would pay full price and feel like it was worth it. On sale or not, I love this game. I will always remember Wobbledogs.

I was looking for something that's just an easy way to mess with marbles and unfortunately a lot of the mechanics got in the way of simple marble enjoyment.

A lot of the mechanics are frustrating, like the fact you can auto follow marbles during a race based on their positioning, but not during free-form play (marble runs). Otherwise the only way I found was to pause physics and fly the camera around until you find the marble you want to focus on, and then click the little camera icon on the marble. That and the camera either clips through everything or obstacles push the camera around, so either way you have to be moving the camera around with the mouse in order to see everything. There's no real spectator-friendly camera that I could find. Not to mention other dynamic pieces not functioning properly unless you're in a race, like I couldn't get flippers to operate because I was in free-form mode. Maybe there's a way to make it work but I'm not that motivated to learn what's essentially redstone wiring for marbles lol.

Got this for my kid and now I'm in love with it. Caught myself doing stat grinding behind the scenes lol

This game runs very smoothly and I'm even on Linux. I've not had a single issue.
