The best hero shooter in the market. Try it and have fun.

Good>
Excellent hero design, everyone unique, with oozing charm. Needs more enemies and varied types in my opinion. Have abilities quests and map quests, so that is fun.

Its challenging in harder difficulties, and have a custom system that i like, which lets you play only by day or night time. More of these would be nice.

Bad>
Terrible multiplayer party maker. You will struggle to get into a party. People dont get ready, so the match wont start. I think the system needs some kind of penalty. Perhaps a min or 2 without match making.

I would also like to customize the party size in public searching.'

The POWER and SPECIAL attacks always get me confused.

Veredict>
Get it, its a great crawler and rogue lite.
Try it with a controller, because KBM is not great.

Update (Nov 2024): This game still needs more enemy variety, and sometimes it feels grindy.

This game lives rent-free on my mind.

This game is awesome whether you play it alone or with friends. It has a campaign with fun and distinctive platforming, charm beyond words, and its frantic. There is also a mode to create your one stages or games. Just good stuff for a small price in my opinion.

And its so freaking FUNNY. The narrator is so much fun.

A classic I am always willing to replay.


This Remastered version is what i was hoping for.

What I like:
The atmosphere is unmatched, the game is as challenging as you will have it. A great story to wrap this game up.

What I dislike:
I still dislike the walking speed, but that's about it.

Final thoughts:
Just try it for a few hours, and you will love it. There's a great game waiting for you, I assure you.

It is an underappreciated game for sure.

Card mechanics are great, heroes are flavourful and we'll developed. Special mention to the roster.

Fun dlc characters and missions.

Social interactions are fun but plain.
Difficulty can be adjusted to your preference.

Bad:
Card moding requires grinding. Too much effort for little return.

Missions can get tedious towards the end of the game.

Verdict:
Try this gem. It's a great experience.
Do not waste your money on dlc skins.

If you love dungeon crawlers that feel like an oldie, look no further. This masterpiece is underappreciated. The pixel art, the story writing, the music are just beautiful. Often I find myself just staring at the art.

Moreover, the gameplay is varied, with many characters to choose from, each with skills, active and passive, to refresh the experience. The challenge is there as well.

Kudos to this jewel. Totally recommended.

make yourself a favor a DO NOT SEARCH anything on the internet, at least on your first play-through.

Have I mentioned the multiplayer is great? Well, it truly is.

Negatives: There aint no clockwork sorcerer nor echo knight, but there's more to come... I hope.
