First things first - this game brought me back to the days of the Infinity Engine games, just better. Walking speed is better, animations are smoother, looting is faster - it gets many of the old interface annoyances out of the way, to allow the player to focus on the game itself.

On the story, which is what I consider most important thing for a game of this nature, let's just say I didn't expect to be blown away, but I was. The characters are memorable, but the world Obsidian have created for this game is a character in and of itself. And it works.
