Like the art this game pulls from, Signalis is a complex, lore rich, story heavy game that makes you question everything. A beautifully somber story about love and promise, and the lengths we go to keep said promises. With nods to real world art pieces and themes, Signalis manages to weave cosmic horror with love and everything in between so well that by the end you will wish to go through this hell again.

The gameplay is heavily influenced by ps1 survival horror games, and just because of that it is worth a playthrough (or 2) if you are a fan of survival horror genre. Limited space, scarce resources and tough enemies are all a big part of the unease you feel while you descent into the horror. Nothing much to add on that front, the aiming sometimes got stuck but nothing that breaks the game.

Music and art direction are a perfect fit and further compliment the madness within the story, the atmosphere is here and its here to stay, very rarely do you feel safe and actually happy, and almost always you must be ready for the worst, and to make the best out of a bad situation.

Horror is on point and blends both survival horror and cosmic horror very well and it all adds to the already perfect atmosphere.

Signalis has been an experience Im glad I went through blind, and it is certainly something I will think about for some time, one the best survival horrors of all time and I have nothing but love for it.

And as always REMEMBER OUR PROMISE.

Little Nightmares is a terrifying experience that is worth it.
The atmosphere is just right to get under your skin and to make you feel uneasy and unsafe in every moment.
"Monsters" are as scary as they come, the sounds, graphics and animation all add up to make some truly horrifying scenarios that makes you the player hold your breath.
The controls are sometimes annoying but that is the only complaint i have for the game.
The story is interesting but you have to puzzle it yourself because game gives you subtle hint and that's it.
Overall I loved the game from start to finish and I would recommend it and would play it again.
I hope to have more little nightmares like these, just don't get too attached to the nomes and you should be good.
