a bit of a short roguelike, worth the $1.70 but not too much i can see doing once finished. there ends up being a part where you just have the most powerful dudes but they are too busy fighting to destroy enemy bases (required for endgame progression), but the rts aspects are really poorly executed so you end up having to control individual units to destroy bases. it was really cute, but they could really downscale the map units because it got laggy on modern moderate hardware. also you cant move the camera fast enough or zoom out enough. the best defensive abilities also cover up everything so you can barely tell your tower's health or where your units are. it seems to have copied wall world's upgrade progression (or the other way around) and while im hyped for the quality and fun their games have churned out for such a small price, yet the unskippable intro cutscene and wonky load times are ehh. beat 100% all steam achievements in 20 hours, idk why people dont have some of these achievements, in fact i got all of the rarest achievements before getting the one for beating it.

This game has NO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RIGHT, to be THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOOD for FIVE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DOLLARS. Do play it, it is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good and so cheap.

i regret not playing this earlier. i bought it, blinked, and before i knew it 35 hours had passed and i beat all achievements except for the mikey and white hell rushes. i ♥♥♥♥ you not, one of the greatest games ever made. the last 12 hours (making the cumulative 47) was all of my failed attempts at the hell rushes

best value for 10 bucks you can possibly get

is real good, stylish, and its a nice blend of point and click, resource management, survival horror, and roguelike (or roguelite, it doesnt matter) i would definitely recommend for aesthetic and vibes

beaten it twice and its pretty artsy and fun
the real reason i love it is because of my fond memories of playing this after binging one punch man and the second half of cowboy bebop while drinking a full pack and a half of red bull and a giant bag of gummy worms

while im greatly appreciative of this getting a full release, i dont like paying 20 bucks for it to just go f2p. its got good visuals and is pretty lit, i gotta congratulate tallboys for this cool (-ish) game

one playthrough is 45 minutes, yet it looks as there are a handful of secrets and alternate endings
astonishing sound design, as well as environment
its a lot to take in, so take it slowly
lots of moments that make you think "wait, thats been there the whole time?"
really trippy in the most unique way and what i would call a definitive for the genre of ps1 filter horror as it definitely carries more structure than other ones
