TLDR:
Touch grass VR Simulator is the panultimate VR game for those desperately need of friends and a life. It is the culmination of every attempt to touch grass in the real world within one truly amazing experience filled with life, pleasure, and enjoyment.

GENRE:
First-person, single-player, "soulslike" game

GAMEPLAY:
Touch Grass VR Simulator is a highly-interactive game where you stand in one spot and touch one patch of grass in VR. It has a mini-game mode where you touch grass for score, and also a more chill casual mode where you touch grass with no pressure of earning points.

Difficulty-wise, I would say that it's similar to Elden Ring or Dark Souls - seeing the sunlight and hearing birds are all things that the most skilled gamer struggles with. The developer did really well in making the game difficult, but fair. Every time I struggled to touch grass it was entirely a player input issue.

GRAPHICS/PERFORMANCE:
On launch, I did not have any issues in terms of performance and the game ran buttery smooth in VR from start of grass-touching to going back inside.

In terms of graphics, this game has some of the most groundbreaking and breath-taking outside graphics in 2024. I wouldn't really know what it actually looked like, being a pro gamer, but if I had to guess, I would say it's very close to how the real world's outside zone actually looks.

STORY:
unfortunately, like other simulator games, Touch Grass VR Simulator does not have much of a story or plot. There are no external characters or sidequests, but it is very open and you are able to make your own fun, as if it were a sandbox game.

NUMERIC SCORE AND CLOSING THOUGHTS:
9.9/10; great gameplay, concept, and graphics. -0.1 for outside-phobia and lack of plot.

This game was everything I've ever wanted. From the safety and comfort of my bedroom, I was able to hear birds chirping and ~imagine~ the soft, plush feeling of lush green grass.

To conclude: Touching grass without the bugs, human interaction, or fear of dog pee.
