This is not a Homeworld game I was hoping for and expecting for years. This is a technologically advanced imitation, but empty and hollow inside.

Story is f**king cringe, cut scenes are facepalm worthy of second-hand writing. Missions are un-imaginative and boring. Even space doesn't feel space-y, but like something cramped and stuffy.

I'm so disappointed, don't want to finish it.

The Talos Principle II to first game is something like Portal 2 was to first game — basically the same game, but better in every regard, from gameplay to puzzle mechannics to artwork to overarching story. Everything expanded, turned to 11 in volume, and made even better.

As a digital tourist I especially appreciate the artwork and architecture, it is overwhelmingly beautiful. Highly recommended!

I personally dislike cats. But this game is about the world and immersion.

Poorly optimized (may suffer from slow loading times), but excellent in atmosphere, story, and just fun to play on long lonely autumn nights. So sad that my screenshot button is broken, there's too many beautiful sights in Nivalis.

(Requires a specific sense of humor, though, otherwise the protagonist may appear unlikable.)

Pros:
Still a solid XCOM game. This time all units are heroes, but because of that, all of them are weaker. It makes overall difficulty noticeably higher. Also order of turns makes its feel even more like a party of chess. That's good.

Cons:
Game is buggy. But that was the case with all remake games on their release :( So unsurprised, no change here, and waiting for patches.

A visual art masterpiece with overwhelmingly emotional story and exceptionally beautiful environments. And the soundtrack is amazing too.

Gameplay wise, it's just another platformer, but as an art project this is something rarely occurring in the wild, probably, less than once a year, only if the stars align properly.

Most of levels are joyful rhytmic ride, and 3rd boss finale is a pure musical catharsis.

A very funny game, full of silly a-ha moments, but the logic of the puzzles is sometimes a bit weird and/or counter-intuitive.

I made it to the half, still enjoying so far, and laughing a lot.

A quite unexpected remaster that fulfills its promise: to deliver essentially the same game, but with much better graphics and major quality of life improvements. And golden keys.

Excellent!
