Great game, with real components and cases. You can either free build, or do the career or E-Sports. Personally I've had 2 Career runs so far, and its awesome to be able to have all sorts of different types of problems and be able to build PCs for other people to however you dream. Highly recommend if you like PCs, or like building them!

This is the absolute best game ever. This is a game you just cannot seem to put down. It's one of those where you play for 12 hours, and think you've only played for 2. There is so many things you're able to do, it's almost endless. Become a trade power, a military powerhouse, a diplomatic freak, the biggest colonizer, create the biggest cities known to man, and create the largest naval power. I mean there is thousands of more things to do and you get to literally form history however you want or follow missions that guide you through the age of how the country went or its plans. This game is 100% worth it, on sale or not. The DLCs just make it a billion times better. If you want a game that you literally never get bored of, this is it.

A billion times YES!
This is one of my favorite games, not only in the series, but of all time.
The story is well thought out, fighting along side some of the most feared pirates during the Age of Sail & Golden Age of Piracy. You go along and see Nassau built up and destroyed, you live the charles town run, the history involved is pretty near to accurate.

The only downfall of the entire game is the inability to change your ship. You're stuck with a Brig, but in the end.... She's much stronger than a Man-O-War. So, it kinda works out.

If you've not played this game in the series because it's "Not the same without Desmond", then you're highly missing out. The game may not be an Assassin's Creed game (You know what I mean.), but it is FUN. And you will find yourself coming back to the open seas just to sink or board a couple ships in years time after beating the game.

After reading all these reviews, i'm not understanding where people are coming from. The game is extremely hard, yeah. And it takes awhile to get up in levels and get better ships and people and so on. However it's a thrill, and the challenge makes it fun. Also has you yelling at the computer screen a couple times because you forgot to save and the spanish fleet sinks you.... I'm not understanding where people are finding things buggy, infact, at all. I've not encountered a single bug in almost 10 hours of play. Some faulty glitches like the water coming onto your sloop, even being uneffective to the damage.
All in all, it's a great game with lots of ships, lots of rewards, lots of quest, lots of missions, lots of things to do period. But it is a challenge, it's not like Black Flag where you're an elite warrior. You have to train your skills from the start.

100% worth $15. Will continue to play for days to come.

EDIT:
After 100 hours, I have crashed maybe 5 times. It runs exceptionally well.
However - I do agree with everybody - you need to save often!

Early Access Review
ARK is all around a fun and enjoyable game. Official servers are extremly grindy, but Unofficial are usually on point. There are tons of mods that will keep you playing the game for hours on hours. The community is OK, usually on unofficial you will find more players that will assist you, rather than not.
HOWEVER;
The game is HORRIBLY optimized, you basically need 450 1080ti's to run this at a decent frame rate on Medium settings. And now that they've bumped the price to $60, and wanting you pay an additional $19.99 for Scorched is absolutely inane. It's also very buggy. Your dinos will fall through the ground, you'll walk through mountains, items randomly disappear, dinos overspawn, and more..
