this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

this game is phenomenal. i now know why countless steins gate fans sit on the anime adaptation, because this game delivers so much content. its too bad the anime could only cover one ending, but can you blame it?
for the first steins gate game, i took my sweet time going through it. i started it in dec of 2019, and i beat it in dec of 2020. its not because i found it boring, oh hell naw, the game had so many impactful memories and moments not featured in the anime. the only reason for why it took so long was because of the plot i already knew. but, with steins gate 0, it changes it up. yes you essentially know whats bound to happen, but for some reason there is so much new content in this game its crazy. the endings lead to so many different scenarios. i figured id spend another year dragging the game out like with the original steins gate game, but instead i was greeted to so many different events occurring that i just had to keep playing. beat it in about 2 months lol.

there are some scenes in the anime that are better than the vn. like the moment with (spoiler warning) kurisu and okabe going to mayuris grave site, or how at the end of the anime it actually shows okabe saving mayuri and suzuha. (spoiler end) but other than that, the game does everything pretty much better story wise. the music is great too, but i do enjoy the anime's bgm more.

great game. play it. even if you've already saw the anime, idgaf. this game is just wild.
