Really fun climbing sim. Big emphasis on approaching climbing as solving a puzzle. You have complete freedom to choose your routes. Which is why I fell off and died horribly a few times before figuring out what a "route with enough hand-holds" looks like. Can't wait for the full game!

Super cute skins! I like that there's a variety of winter and christmassy ones. And the game has gotten so many awesome free updates that I'm happy for another chance to support it.

A very realistic portrayal of what it's like to try to get a chronic illness diagnosis that I think all doctors should be forced to play. I mean, I think everyone should play it, but I think doctors should be forced. :)

This is a very conditional recommend. Phoenix Springs is a good game for people who liked Immortality or Kentucky Route Zero but want something even more surreal and opaque. If you want answers, this game will not give them to you. But it does have some interesting thoughts on immortality, memory, and technology to turn around in your head. And it is very beautiful.

As far as the point-and-click puzzle gameplay, I was a bit disappointed. I liked it quite a lot in the early game, but once you get to the titular Phoenix Springs, the logic starts to get really weird and personally, many of the solutions would not have occurred to me in a million years. Maybe my brain's screwed on wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. There is a developer-written guide linked in the menu, thankfully. But overall, I still like the unique spin on the genre with replacing the physical inventory with an inventory of words and concepts.

This is Fangirl Simulator except it's better than most of those games with "Simulator" in the title. I loved creating my pairing and seeing how that was filled into other parts of the game, like the merch and fanfics. There's lots to do in this game and it's such a dead-on and hilarious portrayal of being involved in fandom.

The only issue is that the localization is pretty rough at times. There are funny moments but also some sentences that are so strangely worded they're incomprehensible. Also a decent amount of untranslated text. But it's still very playable, and I had a lot of fun with it!

This is awesome. It's like minesweeper and picross/nonograms had a baby, and those are some of my favorite kinds of puzzles. There are a lot of puzzles in this demo, too! I didn't finish them all and I played for about an hour and a half. Love that there are puzzles with different colors, too! Having one color makes things a bit easy sometimes because you've got a lot more straight lines than you'd see in most minesweeper levels.

This game was made for people who like dinos and liked the idea of hunting shiny pokemon but the grind was too tedious so the only game you really spent effort hunting shinies in was Pokemon Legends Arceus. If this describes you, go ahead and hit the purchase button now because this game is going to have you by the throat.

You kind of have to play this while someone watches you. I feel like the experience is a lot different (worse) if you don't. Even if it's just one person IRL or on stream.

I feel like everyone gets the really obvious sex work metaphor, but I don't think that's all this game is about. Though it is, of course, very open to interpretation.

Why do the fish still flop around when they come out of a tin? I think pretty much everything else makes sense except for that. Good game.
