Imagine you are presented with the most beautiful cake you've ever seen, and it's all yours. Then somebody cuts you slice and then throws the rest of the cake away in a garbage can right next to you, so all you can do is hold your lonely piece of cake while staring at what you could have been. That's what FNAF Security Breach feels like. This review will go into spoiler territory, though I've marked them off. TLDR at the end.

Don't get me wrong, I really did enjoy playing this game. I have a ton of things that I like about the game! Such as:

+ The aesthetics of the Mega Pizzaplex are beautiful, and it is an incredibly well built location. Steel Wool did a phenomenal job designing the map as a feasible location that makes sense. I would totally go to this place during the day! Sure, none of it is really inherently scary, but I think it fits the game very nicely.

+ The characters this time around are also nicely designed as well, each easily distinguishable from each other with their own traits as well. Bonus points for giving as much depth as they did to their personalities as well. Freddy was a joy to have around, and I loved the dynamic he and the protagonist had.

+ Some (that's a BIG some, though) of the missions are awesomely designed, my favorites being The Endoskeleton Room, the Daycare section, and pretty much all of the security rooms. Those sections in particular feel the most put together (I'll go into detail on that later.)

But none of that hides the fact that this game just doesn't feel finished. I'm sure others have already talked about the numerous bugs, but my main gripe is just the game design.

- The AI in this game is...not very good. I can't count the amount of times I've been caught and immediately ducked into a hiding spot IN THE ANIMATRONIC'S FACE, and they just left. Hell, sometimes you don't even need to hide. You just run around a corner and they just seem to forget you even existed. A game like this heavily relies on the AI and it is an incredible shame that the AI just doesn't work half of the time.

- The security bots suuuuuuuuuuck. Theres a million of them every corner and if they catch you, they just spawn an animatronic a few feet behind you. They're just there to create artificial tension and it very quickly becomes incredibly annoying.

- Any kind of tension that existed in the game is immediately dismissed halfway through the game as soon as you get the Fazerblaster/Fazcam. Freddy already broke alot of it by being able to be summoned anytime you want (granted, he is gone for some important missions.) But as soon as you get your weapon of choice, there is no reason to ever be on edge. Oh no! I alerted the robot! Shoot them in the face and you can literally just walk away. The only one it doesn't work on is Monty, who can basically be taken out of the game at the end of the very quest you get your weapon in.

- I talked about the quests that I liked earlier, so these are some of the ones I didn't really enjoy. For the majority of the game, you spend the whole game doing fetch quests to (literally) pass the time. Go here, do this, collect that. Most of these levels just feel like filler to pad out game time in a mostly empty feeling game. Spoilers for the end of the game: The entire time It feels like you're building up to something at 6 A.M...and then the game just ends. Really abruptly, too. I was half expecting a twist that the security doors wouldn't actually open at 6 A.M. and there would be way more to do...but no. All you get is either a comic book ending that doesn't really feel all that satisfying or an instant teleportation to an ending that throws Vanny in out of nowhere

- This one is a HUGE spoiler. speaking of Vanny, where the hell was she? 2 years of hyping her up as a new antagonist and she just shows up for basically 2 minutes a quarter into the game spamming "ARE WE HAVING FUN YET?" And then you never see her again until the end. What?? That was our introduction to the new big bad of the series? Okay??? Don't even get me started on the Afton ending where she just...does not exist. Everybody BUT her showed up. It is incredibly disappointing and a waste of something bigger. Also, I could go on for hours about how much I hate the Afton ending, but I'll spare you the details. Just know, if you're super into the lore, it just takes that kickass ending in fnaf 6 and takes a faaaaat dump all over it.

I just want to say again, I really did like this game. It even gave us some of my favorite characters in the series! When it worked it felt awesome, and I really wanted more! But you never get more. What really sucks is that there was a lot more planned for the game IN the game files! A bunch of awesome cut content that's just sitting there. Had they had more time I truly thing this game would have been much better, but for now, it just feels empty, incomplete. Steel Wool says they have plans for future content, hopefully filling the basegame with the cut content before a DLC, but as of right now I don't think this game is worth its 40 dollar price tag. Maybe pick it up if there's a sale.

TL;DR: The game looks great and can be fun, but despite the maps massive size, the game feels really empty.

Start game as killer
See a Dwight
He starts doing an infinite
He does the T-bag taunt
I kick his ass
He disconnects before I can even put him on a hook.

10/10 would kick Dwight's ass again.

hey fellas. If you're looking into animation as hobby, definitely start with SFM. In my opinion, it is a great first step into getting in the 3D animation. Its free, easy to get started, and can create beautiful works of art if you put your time and energy into it. It does require a bit of patience, and creativity, as it is limited in some ways that other programs are not, but it is definitely worth your time.

PROS:
+A huge list of assets built in
+A workshop that lets anyone add community made models to their projects
+Relatively easy to begin picking up if you're really into it
+Several great animation presets to help smooth out your animation
+A great, active community full of veterans willing to help
+A great tool to start learning cinematography as well, with easy camera controls and presets.

CONS:
+Prone to many, many bugs.
+No built in asset creation
+Prone to crashing
+Runs on a version of TF2 that hasn't been updated since 2007
