After almost six years of running this free, 1:1 trading bot, it is with a heavy heart that I now close it down. A few months ago, I encountered a user that could not accept their own mistakes and could not read the bot's description. As a consequence to their lack of attentiveness, I - that is my main account - received negative rep on SteamTrades. So be it, I moved on and kept running the bot.

Since then, I have been harassed by additional individuals claiming to have "accidentally" given the bot extra cards and demanding refunds or they would post more negative rep. I bolded more because that was their words. These were active threats. Due to the volume of trades my bot does, the trade history page usually fails to load, which is one of the reasons I left the "donations" disclaimer on the bot. Only once among those later incidents was I able to get into the trade history and - guess what? - the user had no trade history with the bot.

I'm tired of this ♥♥♥♥. I've been running this bot on my own computer, paying my own electricity to keep it up as close to 24/7 as possible, at no personal profit, and doing so happily since Valve still refuses to provide any community improvements that they can't profit off of. But these little ♥♥♥♥♥ crossed the line and I won't take it.

With my health in the state it's in, I don't need some little asshats raising my blood pressure thinking they can extort me for a handful of free cards. So I'm sorry, party's over for this bot.

There are many other bots out there now, most of which have the same "orphaned cards are donations" policies yet with no owner links on them. Go throw yourselves at their inventories.

https://steamtradematcher.com/ is also still a thing, and the more users use it, the more you'll have easy access to trades.

Good luck with the 2021 Summer Sale, and I'm honestly sorry my bot won't be a part of the trading.
