Bought the game and sat on it for a long time, started playing it after getting the steam deck. It's in the category of games that I would only play on handheld. Great stuff.

Good fun, would even go back to replay fights and farm perks if the backlog wasn't so long.
Be sure to manually backup your save if you plan on going back; there is no cloud save.

Great game, especially the last 2-3 episodes of each section. The first 1-2 episodes are always kinda easy, I guess maybe to ease you into the game?

sound effects and ui is satisfying, puzzles are cool, hidden debug messages are the storyline i guess

Game Version 1.4 No DLC:

grind -> lots of progress/money suddenly -> then suddenly lacking content -> craft 2 items and game ends -> evaluate dlc -> tavern and story completion (not more story btw) that feels like it should be in the main game -> look for mods for more game play content and not dlc -> only QoL mods -> think paying dlc for more grinding for not much reward -> uninstall the game

Main takeaways:
- Worth a play if you like farming, crafting, tech trees, and some automation
- Pixel Graphics look great
- Get DLC if you want but not necessary, why? (Next point)
- Little replay value

All in all, good game, entertained me for several weeks (I got it on sale for less than 10 bucks), little replay value (not worth full price of 20 bucks)

not bad, feels slightly faster than the other games but the puzzles are just as good if not more intricate.
