tl;dr: Dishonored with guns gameplay that's pretty fun but is constantly broken up by menu navigation, interesting setting but not enough put into world building, almost completely devoid of an actual narrative and what's there is deeply unsatisfying.

To begin with, this game should not cost this much. I bought it for $100AUD and wish I'd waited as long as it took until it was as low as $15. My playtime says 26 hours, but at least half of that is sitting on my phone in the menu between times of day because I was bored.

The gameplay itself is pretty good despite some extremely poor AI. All the guns were reasonably satisfying to use and the powers/slabs made approaches feel at least a little more varied. It was fun starting out moving slowly through the maps and getting faster as I learned more routes until the point where I could sprint across a whole map without much trouble. The invasions also helped in making things more tense and served as a way to keep from getting totally bored with sprinting past enemies. All that said, actually playing the game only lasts for up to 30 minutes (in my experience) before you're done with everything you wanted to do on that map at that time of day and you're forced to stop and navigate through menus before continuing. You could argue it's to help relieve tension and give a chance to view leads, but that's what a pause button is for. You can pause and view leads at any time anyway, so why should players be forced into the menu between maps.

The concept of the loop and following leads to break it, as well as the world they built is interesting, but that's about it. It feels like the devs only made half an attempt to even try any sort of world building, and only then it's almost like they only did it because they realised there was almost no story to speak of. The only real exposition in this game is the little tidbits gained from Julianna on the radio and in the last 10 minutes of the game before the credits, so they had to replace it with notes and audio tapes that are supposed to tell the story. Outside of this the story boils down to "I'm gonna break the loop" *breaks loop* "Oh ♥♥♥♥, it worked" and the only attempt at fleshing anything more out felt meaningless because it seems like the main character isn't affected by it in any way. After all that at the end, any interest in the world is thrown out since nothing is explained or even teased about what happens after the events of the game, the credits kinda roll.

Overall, a pitiful attempt for a AAA game.

Fun but bonus challenges can be ridiculous sometimes

Nice and relaxing. Sometimes glitchy, but otherwise very nice.

Early Access Review
It's pretty fun. Play with a friend. Test all the champions out until one of them just clicks. Only Poloma is particularly OP, at least she was from my last experience.

There is no where to start with the review of this game. It is just unable to be explained. Play it to see what I mean.

It's good.
