If you're after a coop shooter rogue-like then get Gunfire Reborn instead

A souls game with guns, an obscene amount of content (of which more is constantly being added through patches and DLC) and a super fun coop or solo experience.

Playing the game through once will set you back a fair amount of time but there are two core variations to every zone and countless dungeons and secrets to get.

Definitely worth a buy if you're looking for something fun to get into with some friends

Can't really recommend this in its current form. It's really just a grind fest until 30 then all you're really improving are minor numbers on equipment after that.

Also with regards to late-game content, there isn't much. You basically just play the same missions again on a slightly higher difficulty.

One more thing worth mentioning is the lack of build diversity on each class. Notably the Psyker has one late game build and the other ones just aren't viable which is incredibly disappointing

Honestly I think this is a great coop game with an interesting enough if not somewhat generic storyline.

The combat is fun and very satisfying and the combinations that are available between weapons, skills and mods makes for some pretty cool combos.

The endgame is a bit slow and relies on replaying a number of expeditions to grind better good but I got a lot of enjoyment out of this game.

Extremely bland story and the gameplay is pretty mundane. There is SOME customisation with regards to your build but you're pretty much guaranteed to perform the same function as anyone else using your class. The extent of the customisation for your build vs another player of the same class purely comes down to equipment.

Also, still no oceanic servers even though the servers that have oceanic players have been bogged down and have insane queue times. Instead, they decided the EU needs another region....

Fun and slightly addictive game with a fun concept and consistent updates from the dev.

Unplayable in its current state as the game will always crash when you try and access specific areas which are compulsory for completing the story.

Otherwise, if you enjoyed Human Revolution then you will find that this is incredibly similar to that and is overall a quite enjoyable game. Don't expect many boss fights though.

UPDATE: They fixed the bug where the loading screen would crash when you travel between areas. With that in mind, I have changed it to a recommend.

Pretty great game overall. The voices were sub-par but the gameplay mechanics made up for it.

Too laggy in australia. You really can't play this properly until they get an Oceanic server
