Wow this game is awesome. Fun, challenging, mysterious, unsettling. OOOOOZES style at all times. I do wish I could turn on my suit light on-demand though, some parts are a bit dark, hard to see.

Anyway definitely play this, especially if you like this kind of game.

This game is quite simply PEAK. Borrows a bit from the friendslop genre, but actually has a win-condition, making this a great standalone game even if you just like climbing games. It really does capture well the aspect of climbing that is planning your ascent from the bottom and visually rating difficulty (speaking from experience). I have more chivos to get and I intend to 100% this game.

Game is overall fun despite some glaring weird design choices, like indestructible pots next to destructable pots, looking identical.

However I couldn't get it to run well AT ALL and it crashed constantly. Basically unplayable which does take me back in a way to the early days of Obsidian.

Do not buy, at least not unless they patch it like crazy

This is honestly the first AAA game I have enjoyed in a long time. It's just a game, a really good game with no BS. Reminds me of the games I used to play growing up in the 90s... you just explore and learn as you go, fighting stronger and stronger enemies, until you are a god of fighting.

Nothing is more satisfying than using the spell "A Pluck Of Many" and JJK jumping your enemy, just seriously me and my 5 monkey homies putting down the LAW on some giant mfr with an attitude.

As for difficulty I'd say it's on par with Elden Ring, but feels a bit easier because it's less confusing and the combat flows more enjoyably. It's a lot like Elden Ring except the UX makes like 10x more sense.

I will say the main thing missing is a map. I ended up installing a mod called "Simple Map" which uses a kind of bird's-eye-view map setup to show you where you are, and it has increased my enjoyment a lot.

One of the greatest games of all time. Part simulation, part roguelike, part RPG, overall: very hard to describe.

I recommend playing with a controller. The controls are much improved and streamlined that way. I did remap a few things based on my preferred way of playing.

What I like most about this game is the sheer variety and insane depth. You really can play out whatever insane design you like, and the only limit is your own knowledge and capabilities. If you can come up with clever solutions, you can solve almost any problem. I know a lot of games talk about "oh you don't have to choose violence to win". This is not that. This is like, if you only use violence alone it won't be enough to truly excel. So you'll get creative and when you realise it the first time, you'll feel awesome.

All I can say is play this game. It's very good.

This game presents as an interactive experience, but really you just walk through caves for a bit, and then it's basically a movie on rails, without any user interaction. The tone also shifts DRAMATICALLY and honestly makes the game feel like a bait and switch. Bummer.

Definitely some cool moments, but once the tone shifts you'll be like: what happened?! It's VERY apparent and nothing like the advertised content.

Fun game, and great execution of handcrafted + procedural generation. It really was immersive, except for the ticket thing.

Looking forward to Chapter 2 for sure.

Fun game, interesting vibes. You can see a lot of the rough edges, but thematically it kind of fits the vibe, so who's complaining? Overall I think this is one of the better executions of this type of horror/liminal games. It leans way more on the active participation side compared to a more passive game like POOLS.

Overall, fun game, 8/10, very worth the price. It's a bit short though, it doesn't take long to completely explore and "beat" it.

This sequel to Exit 8 does hit hard, in a good way, with the weirdness. The game mechanic itself I found initially more confusing, but then much simpler than Exit 8. It has a nice flow, and I do recommend it. Can't wait to play whatever is next.

Pretty much a super fun pseudo-horror puzzle game with the puzzle mechanic being super simple but also super fun.

It is literally so basic and simple, but I don't want to spoil it too much.

Basically the same loop of hallway repeats and on each repeat if there is no anomaly you walk forward, but if there is one you go back. Also try not to die.
