This game literally pays for itself with the variety and QUANTITY of content it offers the player. Basically the game plays like:

You want a dramatic, edge of your seat campaign with high stakes?
CHECK

You want some of the most silliest side quests ever conceived?
We have tons of those!

You want to manage a hostess club?
YES YES YES!! YES

You wanna play blackjack for 4 hrs to win a young girls affection?
Go for it!

You wanna play mahjong all day?
If its there, ITS THERE!

How about a friendly clan-based strategy minigame?
Wait..... you have that?

Or perhaps darts?
Wait stop!?

Or watch a movie?
Im not sure?

How fighting in the arena?
Please just let me pla..

if i were you..... I would already own this! ESSENTIAL!!!!

First time i played this was back in High School in 2013. At first I didn't know what I was doing, or why I was dying so often. It took me ages to find where to go, and for me the first boss (Taurus Demon) seemed impossible. After beating him I kept getting killed by a bloody dragon on a bridge. I fell off it pretty hard after that and never pickecked it up again.


................that all changed in 2017!!!!!!!! After being shown by a friend how you REALLLYYYY are supposed to play Dark Souls I revistited the game, kicked the Demons ass in one go (fell off bridge), went on to ring a bell, went downstairs, rang another bell, Fight a lot of crazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ monsters in the process, got SPIKED, killed snek after snek after SNEEEEKKKKKKKKK (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ snek), found a wolf, got pulverised by him, went to this flashy castle, fought more dudes, went into a painting, went out of a painting, get over the PSD, fought big armour dudes and then fight more big dudes...........

AND SO ON!!!!!!!!

What I am trying to say is this....... If this game puts you off because of its difficulty, there is ABSOULUTELY NOTHING to be ashamed of. We all experience games differently and sometimes it just doesn't work out the way you want it to. Though if you buy this game, keep on to it, just in case, because it holds one of the most rewarding and engaging gaming experiences I have ever come across.

Its a game where you are given time to fail with an (somewhat) even level of consequence. Where your skills in combat come down to stats and timing of attacks rather than button mashing until dead. If one guy is constantly kicking your ass into next year, you can just leave in the other direction, find a new room only to find an even BIIGGGERRR BOSS than the one you found before!!

Overall its a fantastic game and still holds up to its successors (Bloodborne, Dark Souls III - All great titles in their own right). Who knows, it might even just change the way you play games................. Dont believe me?

It’s like Max Payne............... that’s it!!

Ok, ok fine! It’s like Max Payne, without the dead family, without the gritty aesthetic.

Instead you are given what could only be described as ‘What if John Woo made a video game?’ converteted into video game form!

Plus it’s just so funny when you slide through a door, jump up, do backflip, punch a guy in the face, take his gun, only to then jump and shoot two passing players, whilst falling down a story high!!

I mean it’s free, there’s no need for me to convince you really!

Before I played this game: Awww this looks like a cute little robot action game! This should be fun!

After I finished (A ending): Awww wow that was really cool, some interesting stu..... wait? There’s more????

After B ending: The actual ♥♥♥♥ just happened?

After completing all the main endings (C-E): WHY CAN I NOT STOP CRYING!!!???? THIS NEVER HAPPENS!!!!!!!


Summary: This game is a lot of fun.......……..….........................................................................................................................................................................but MY GOD it will break you!!!

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice (it’s insanely good, MY GOD!!!) I might just buy it twice!
Bring on the Switch version (.....whenever the hell that’s coming out? Hurry up Cherry!!)

You'd think it's an impossible for a game to be this much fun and still play well even to this day?
Well thankfully this game has that.... and more!!
To put it simply this game is a clever little puzzle game disguised as a 3rd person shooter, where you are given a lot of tools, options, objects and interest points at your disposal to cunningly assassinate your targets.
..... or you could just run to people and shoot them in the head. Just as fun (2 words: ragdoll physics).

Either way the game spoils you for choice whilst also challenging players to think more outside the box (or conveniently placed dumpster)
