SimCity4 is a legacy game that still has a lot of love from its loyal community. If you're looking for support, you can find it here on Steam or on www.simtropolis.com, where there are a lot of mods available and a lot of still-loyal fans of a great game.

Yes, the graphics are dated and official support has ended a long time ago. But the game is a classic. It is easy to get lost in its simplicity. If you're looking for a good city simulator that was only upstaged by City:Skylines, than this is for you!

This is a fun, go-to sandbox-building game. One of the things I enjoy the most is the dupes and watching their expressions, reactions, and interactions to one another. Even on a bad day, this game can really get you laughing, make you frustrated, and entertain you at the same time. Yes, I own the DLC, but in all honesty, I have more enjoyment playing the base game than I do with the DLC. Oh, and this game doesn't need any mods to be a great game.

I was recommended this game and gifted it by a friend and I'll be the first to admit that I find the game visually simple yet pleasing on the eyes. The soundtrack is cute, and the tasks are open to where you can get as crafty as you want in your design, but your vehicle better be efficient! It is an enjoyable game and the scenarios and challenges can easily be done within a quick span of time (in the early stages of the game). It's addictive, too.

Great game. It is a shame the Steam Awards only allows you to nominate a game for one category. While it's most definitely the best game of 2020, I nominated it as "the best game I suck at" category. I do not have a joystick and play it on the PC with a mouse and keyboard. And I highly not recommend that method to anyone!

It has a great soundtrack and is very Star Wars-esque in how it sounds. The visuals are great and playing multiplayer with four of your friends is a great way to kill about four hours of your time. It's also a flexible game, giving you ample opportunities to fly solo, play a campaign/story mode, or to just practice destroying Rebel scum. It's also an easy enough game to play with a team of four of your friends and lose a couple of hours at a time doing so.

I am particularly hard on video games. I don't like "directed story line" oriented games. But I also get bored with "sandbox mode" fairly quick. For me, this makes most games okay for a while. I was hesitant to buy No Man's Sky when it first came out because I thought it was going to be mostly a "story line" game. Last week, on the recommendation of a few friends, I purchased this game.

I will admit the game is not what I expected it to be. The graphics are great, and the game plays rather smoothly. While there is a story line to the game, it is low pressure and doesn't require me to rush into tasks. It's what a good game should be - it offers a chance for individual playing styles with a story line mode that does give you something else to do when you're tired of exploring planetary surfaces.

While some of the animals and plants are the same, (remember, I only have 30+ hours in the game), each planet visited has been unique. Each offers different minerals, geological features, hazards, and other unique features to keep playing the game interesting. When not playing the story line, you can spend hours collecting artifacts, discovering buried data pod-like containers, and wreckage of other vessels. There are also settlements, outposts, and other things you'll come across as you explore planetary surfaces.

The game offers "normal" mode and "sand box" mode. The main difference being all technologies for building are given up front in sand box mode and normal mode has a basic, hard, and extremely harsh settings for those who want to become overly stressed during game play.

The only drawback to this game is there's not a lot of information given to the user in the beginning. I've had to look up YouTube videos and reach out to friends to understand some of the basics about the game. The in-game aids need some improvement. A list of elements and minerals discovered plus what they can be crafted/refined into would be most helpful.

My system specifications are: Windows 10, Dell i3-7100 (7th gen), 3.91 GHz, with 16 GB RAM. I do not use the on-board video adapter, but have an AMD Radeon HD 7700 video card with 2 GB RAM.

I have played Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 for years but with Windows 10, I had to buy a second copy through Steam so that I could continue to play. I found Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and 3 bundled as a Steam sale item about the time Roller Coaster Tycoon: World was released. So I purchased it.

In true keeping with the spirit of the original RCT and RCT2, this game does meet expectations. Although I do miss the cartoonish appearance of the two previous editions, there are many new features which almost makes up for that loss. There's now a sandbox mode which allows for one of the best ways to waste time - the creation of a massive park! This version of the series allows you to actually see what the ride offers from the view of the park visitors.

If it's on sale, then this is a game you definitely want to buy. It's worth it!

I've been a fan of Sid Meier's other titles, beginning with the original Civilization. This is one of the two titles I've been disappinted in. I purchased it based on Steam promotional images but discivered a handful of the images were taken during the BETA of the game - thus those features were not in the final product.

It is pretty easy to learn the pattern to the game; at times, it is almost predictable. If you are a fan of the Civilization franchise, you expect some level of predictability after the first 30 to 40 hours of play-time. But you don't expect to figure it out within the first couple of hours of playing the game.

Is it a good game? Yes, but would I recommend paying full price for it? No. It's best purchased during one of the Steam seasonal sales or when bundled with another title.

First of all, I love Civilization type games and the challenges they bring. I bought this game on sale back in October (2016) and was not too disappointed. In this game, you play a deity that is lovingly worshiped by a small tribe of humanoid creatures that resemble bipedal lemmings. They follow your every command and will build, harvest crops, raise offspring, kill enemies, and even bring you token offerings in exchange for your divine protection.

It's addictive and each level gets progressively harder, introducing new elements to game play. If you're easily frustrated, then this is NOT the game for you.

Originally, I bought Kerbal Space Program on sale while it was still in early pre-release mode. It is the best game I have ever bought for less than $10 U.S.

For a sandbox builder game, the graphics are great and whether you are playing in career mode (earn science points to unlock technology, complete contracts to earn money to buy better parts), science mode (where you just earn science points), or traditional sandbox, it is an exciting game. I prefer sandbox and set my own goals, then achieve them.

The game is easily modded and through its support forum (my id name is adsii1970 there) and Curse, there are literally thousands of mods to make the game as challenging or asthetically pleasing (or realistic) as you want.

It is well worth the purchase price.

UPDATE: 20180809 - There is a lot of dislikes in the review section about the new EULA. While the game does relay information to Squad/Take Two, so does Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media platform most of us use.

A really great city-building simulator. If you were a fan of the Age of Empires or Stronghold, and enjoyed playing them except for the pesky computer-controlled enemy units that kept attacking, then this is the game for you. There are a lot of great mods available (for free) and if you prefer to play a vanilla game, there are some great Steam achevements that will require the player to try various strategies to win.

Overall, a truly great game.
