Low effort. The voices use AI and sound awful. Some humorous ideas but overall oddly misogynistic. The music i heard was good - i hope it wasnt AI like the voices. The level design was horrible.

Man, unfortunately this is a good game marred by inexcusable bugs. I played this for probably 15+ hours on the GOG version 1.4.1 - the latest patch. Then I switched to the Steam version, So that's why I only show 2.5 hours in Steam. Same 1.4.1 version. The game could be fun, but its just very broken and seems to have shipped without being fully cooked. Postal 2 for instance is notoriously janky - but they've since done a good job of addressing most of the bugs in that game. What do we have to do? Wait until the 20th anniversary of Postal 4 just to get a playable version? Anyways, the game is OK - could be a good follow up to Postal 2, but the bugs need to be squashed. You cant even ride the rollercoasters or attractions at Kunny Island, despite it being part of the game. You have to now walk along the roller coaster to get to the ladder to get to the power conduit. That was when i realized the game wasnt just buggy, it was broken.

Weapon reload animations are really nice. The size of the maps is kind of incredible. I'm not sure if Ive seen Build do some of these thing before. Huge backdrops. Incredibly cool verticle Dubai level that is quite impressive. People seem to get mad at this level, but i had no problem. If this were a paid game, It would feel somewhat under-finished. But It's free. And if you love the Build engine, you'll like this game.

Wow, that was bad. I'm a completionist, in the sense that once I start a series I want to see it through. So, yes I played this for like 20 hours. It sucked. They clearly ran out of time or money for this game before they shipped. Gone are all of the great things that brought the first game to life. This is the first time I've played through the Broken Sword games, and so far this is hands down the worst out of them. Not just only the worst of a good franchise, but a legitimately bad game in it's own right. The puzzles lack logic. Many of the puzzles are not presented properly. Some items you have to interact with are off screen and you have to walk away to see them. The controls are extremely janky. The conversations aren't very funny. Humorous dialog about inventory items is sparse. Lacks depth. The women in the game are portrayed as stupid for most of the game and just stand around doing nothing. Nico doesn't look anything like Nico, and George doesn't look quite like George. They just completely missed on all points. Just loads and loads of problems like this, and they never stop. It's a poorly crafted game that screams "development troubles". I'm so glad I'm done and moving on to Broken Sword 5.

One of the best games of all time. Too bad Rockstar Social Club/Rockstar Games Launcher is constantly ruining it. I can't play on Deck or PC at the time of writing this.

Look, this game does not contain the same magic sauce that Max Payne and Max Payne 2 dripped with. This series desperately needs Remedy back and Remedy mustn't ever sell it's franchises again. Other than the fact that this Rockstar release doesn't stand up to any of Remedy's masterpieces, it plays OK - like a Max Payne DLC for GTA.

Incredible game in it's own right, and a fantastic remake of one of the most influential games of all time. I'm sad there's no GamePig though. That was hard to swallow. Other than that, this is the new "best" way to play this game, unless you're on a nostalgia hunt.

OMG this is the greatest SEGA game of all time. In 2001, SONY had Final Fantasy X, but SEGA had THIS duology. A level of detail never seen before in any game, backed by bleeding edge hardware (Dreamcast) made this a technical marvel of it's time and for a while after - due to the level of detail put into the game. The English voice acting is horrible and hilarious. The voice actors clearly were not reading the lines in context of the story and would just put whatever intonation they felt like on sentences, and the sound quality is low. But this was from an era when most games were not fully voiced, and to fit the volume of lines onto those cds, they must have had to reduce the bitrate drastically. And sadly it seems the original audio recordings were not sourced or did not exist, so we get the Dreamcast and XBOX audio quality. But seriously these games are incredible journeys, and not like any other game. I would consider these games to be Investigative Fighting Adventure with Mini Games. If you are a fan of the Yakuza series, you owe it to yourself to check out its spiritual successor, Shenmue. And if you haven't played any Yakuza games and you like Shenmue, go get Yakuza 0 right now.

A retro throwback adventure title with a rare cyberpunk vibe. For a cyberpunk game fan, this title shouldn't be missed. The music is also excellent (!!!) and really set the tone for the 8 bit vibe they were leaning toward. And personally, when I say the music is good, I mean I would leave it playing and get lost in thought and would frequently jam out to the background tunes. Very catchy. Can't say enough about the music.
The dialog is good and thought provoking for the most part. People have interesting things to say and the writing is to-the-point for the most part. There are huge number of dialog outputs for combining all sorts of items with the environment. Additionally there are a large number of interactive items in each scene, each having at least three different dialog outputs. Lots of reading to do if you want to. It's great to hear the thoughts of the characters, and feels nicely fleshed out.
It's basically the coolest cyberpunk graphic adventure since Blade Runner for PC.
The puzzles are not hard, the game plays much like an interactive novel and doesn't take very much thought from the player, but the atmosphere and story and music are enough to make me a BIG fan of this game. I very much hope they can make a follow-up.

Good Good Game. I was quite surprised by the depth of this game. HIGHLY recommended. This came out Dec 11th 2014, But I'm naming it my favorite game of 2015. The psychological ideas that the game presents are very thought provoking and appeal greatly to my sense of mortality and sci-fi cyber technology taste. The puzzles are not overly difficult, but present a rewarding challenge that becomes addictive. The puzzle design is very intelligent and the graphical ambiance is full and rich and beautiful. The harder puzzles span the entire world, are optional and they add quite a bit of depth to the experience on an exploration gameplay level. This is a surprise of a game and a must own for most gamers.
