Ah, *Crownfall*, the event that proves Valve’s motto might be “Why meet deadlines when you can blow past them?” Each act came with its own flavor of delays, but Act IV really took the crown (pun intended), being postponed four times. Valve must’ve been perfecting it for so long, they practically forgot it was supposed to release. Who needs punctuality when you’ve got mystery, right?

But hey, when it finally dropped, it was pretty great. The mini-games like "Nest of Thorns" and "Castle Carnage" brought some fun chaos, and let’s not forget the Minesweeper-esque "Spleen Sweeper," because who doesn’t want to relive the thrills of misclicking bombs from the ‘90s? And sure, the lore about Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit added depth, but let’s face it, we all came for the cosmetics anyway.

At the end of the day, the delays were annoying, but the event did deliver on creativity and rewards. Crownfall might not have been on time, but it was worth it—eventually. For that mix of procrastination and passion, *Dota 2* deserves the "Labor of Love" award. After all, nothing says "love" like making us wait half a year longer than expected.
