They took away 6v6 and lootboxes just to bring in microtransactions and a ♥♥♥♥ overpriced store.

I'm a college student who's also working a full-time job. Waking up used to be hard and I'd sleep all the time because I was just so tired. I started playing this game because I forced myself to try something new, and let me just say--it honestly changed my life. I don't come home and immediately fall asleep. I stopped isolating myself. I know it's just a game, but talking to the villagers and being surrounded by positivity every time I play feels like a breath of fresh air. I'm not going to spoil anything, but the story is something I can relate to so it's heartwarming to feel understood. This game overall is one of the best games I've ever played and I'm so happy I started to play it. I recommend it to anyone who's currently struggling or feeling alone, or obviously a huge disney fan. Dreamlight Valley means a lot to me. It's so mentally uplifting that the game feels like a hug.

For anyone who enjoys the customization and building of Sims 4, Animal Crossing, etc, just know you can move everything however you want it. This includes villagers homes, adding nature, and adding pathways. I also LOVE clutter so my town is hella cluttered--if you enjoy that like I do.
