I previously gave this a negative review over loading times but I've realized that's just because my computer was ♥♥♥♥ and with proper hardware this loads and plays without any issues or the bugs I originally experienced. I've only played (and only intend to play) the multiplayer, and I enjoy it a lot. Everything is very cool looking and fun, especially the big team battles. The voice acting is peak. Music is generic though.

Absolutely phenomenal game with a crazy premise and a unique cassette-futurism style. The gameplay can get pretty stressful but it feels rewarding when you win. I wish we knew more about the lore!

With every single 'update' that is released, this game gets progressively worse. Tower Unite has the single most dysfunctional dev team I have ever dealt with. Horrible optimization, horrible and prolific bugs which make elements of the game entirely unplayable, and horrible community management which leads to the proliferation of awful and creepy people in the game.
A very chronic issue is that every single 'bug fix' comes jam-packed with 20 other new bugs for the things you enjoy, so I hope you don't plan to do those things for the next two weeks. Now, just walking around is even bugged. I wish more people played Tower Unite because I do find it fun and will continue to play it, but the level of degradation I have witnessed over the past year is beyond what I can consider acceptable. I am a fan, and I am disappointed.

If you find nice people to play with and stick together on the moons, it can be an incredibly thrilling experience.

I should say first that I wanted to LOVE this game, the story and setting that it has are both amazing, unique, and interesting. But I can't base a review on what's seen without talking about what's experienced. The gameplay is so grueling, not in a way that is particularly hard, but that it is extremely repetitive and an annoyance to get through. There were several memorable points, but the whole of it blends together into one premise - go to this open area, clear the enemies, then repeat and repeat and repeat without a difference in your method or the overall layout of the areas. There were multiple points where I got stuck and had to restart because I simply ran out of ammo and there wasn't a way to get more. After watching some gameplay clips, I stopped playing just before Comstock's House near the end of the game, because I honestly couldn't keep dragging myself along without any desire to keep going.
The way the story and gameplay conflict for me is a bit hard to understand but all in all, I LIKE this game, I just can't enjoy playing it. I recommend looking into it and learning about the story and lore, but I do not recommend playing it.

I love how GLaDOS is presented as the antagonist at first then you get to learn who she actually is and have sympathy for her. She actually cares about Chell. She is the coolest and most complex AI in fiction and the ending really is bittersweet but better that way…GLaDOS would agree :)

very simple to learn and get used to unlike some other grand strategy games. Very cheap price and infinite capability for add-ons, but it has some game-breaking bugs that I'm guessing will never be fixed. very cool i can make islamic republic of luxembourg
