This is a game you can only play once. Go in blind. This is a game that will make you feel something.

It's the year 21, A dwarf has invented math for the first time. In celebration (or just because someone felt like it) a party is held in the grand hall. Unfortunately the noise is the last straw for one unhappy dwarf, who proceeds to go mad and pull every lever he can get his hands on. This leads to him releasing the lava trap at the gates without first sealing the entrance. Soon the fortress is flooded with lava, smoke, and burning cats. The last surviving dwarfs attempt to ford the lava river to get to the renaming booze, before sucoming to thirst. Eventually only a single dwarf is left dwarf is left, safely isolated from the rest of the fort. "Hopefully the 4th time's the charm"

Omori is a trip. Normally I'm not a huge fan of JRPGs, but this one had drawn me in like few others, with perhaps the best comparison being Undertale. A few warnings: First, you are best off going in blind, due to the nature of the story this is simply unavoidable if you want the best playthough experience. Second because of this you will not get everything your first playthough. Do what you can but don't stress about what achievements you seem to be missing, if you enjoy the game enough to want to get all of them you'r want to do a second playthough anyways.

It's a HD monster hunter for the PC, and though the game isn't perfictly optimized it still runs very well. If you've ever been interested in the monster hunter franchise, now is a better time then ever to try it out. This is essentally a rebuilding of the core engine of the series, and is likely the start of a new chapter. It has many quality of life improvments compared to older games, and offers a less-harsh learning curve. My biggest comlaint is that there is a less diverse offering of monster fraims the older games, though that will hopefully change as new content is added periodicly. This game is great for both a casual couple of hours every here or there, to multi 10 hr play secions. The end-game content can get stale after some time, but you can always pick up a new weapon, and need to look at old fights from an entirlly new perspective. Definatlly worth the money, and even better if you get it on sale.

This game feels like a cross between Ledgend of Zelda and Cave Story with a very mysterious tone. In this game, it is extreamly rare to see any text based instructions, everything being convayed by either a syries of pictures or a mysterious language that you must translate yourself. This being said, I still understood the game perfectly. There is very little to complain about in this game. It is difficult at times but fair, and both combat and movment feel very smooth. Younhave a decient number of options in regarding your choice of weapon, and although a symple slash, slash, dash will get you through most of the game, there is significantly more to combat than just that. One of the key aspects to this game is the shear number of secrets. Even the majority of the health packs are hidden. The secrets are never unfair though and if you know what to look foor they can be found fairly simply. Overall this game is on that I would highly recomend.
