decent game, ignoring the fact that "call of duty hq" is the single worst interface and menu setup ever introduced in the history of fps gaming (but lets look past that for now)

campaign has pretty good characters and level design even if the overall plot makes NO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense
coop raids are pretty neat gameplay wise if you have good communication with your team, but the other coop missions feel like repeats of modern warfare 2019 coop which is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the story shown in the raids is also pretty dumb.
multiplayer is ok, i dont care much for multiplayer in these games regardless

all in all get it on a MASSIVE sale, 100% not worth it at full price, and be ready to suffer with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ frontend design activision is forcing on us along with having to download updates for modern warfare iii (a game that I DONT EVEN OWN)

heavily overpriced for the amount of content, especially considering the dlc model from payday 2 returns with this far higher base price tag.
having multiple editions is a nasty strategy, would it kill you to just have one?

mwii campaign - 28.56gb.
mwii coop - 29.64gb.
so for what reason is the retarded "hub" a 100.06gb download????
♥♥♥♥ you activision.

i dont remember what even happens in this game to be honest
cant comment on multiplayer since i never really played that and my time spent solo in spec ops really showed that it is DEFINITELY meant for two people and is probably more fun that way. sadly i dont have friends

gameplay wise it feels about as good as youd expect from these games, but the story does a pretty good job of showing whats at stake throughout the game (which is told primarily through sorta flashback missions that eventually lead up to the present). characters are pretty likeable too
cant say much about the multiplayer or zombies, id rather play black ops iii zombies tbh
i have no idea why the windows and mac versions are separate but if youre trying to play games on mac its really your own fault

as far as the campaign goes its literally just the exact same game but it looks and maybe plays better in some ways.
multiplayer is alright, i didnt play much of it and i dont really care for it and youre probably better off playing the original for active servers.
DEFINITELY not worth £35 though lol get it on sale

this game is basically just the first one but better in pretty much every single way.
teammates calling out locations as much as they do here is pretty neat or tiring depending on how you feel about it as a concept
not really a lot to say here other than get the warchest bundle since thats probably the best way to play these games

nice expansion but doesnt REALLY bring much to the table imo. absolutely not worth £15 on top of the original games £15 but it IS worth playing if you pick it up in the warchest bundle that also comes with the first and second main games (which is probably the best way to buy these games)
pretty much everything i have to say on the original applies here too since its just a relatively small expansion

generally a pretty good albeit dated shooter. kinda surprising that there wasnt even any kind of patch to add widescreen options to the menu 20+ years after launch, but thats just activision caring about their games i guess. easy to work around thru config editing.
the health bar system is pretty neat even if the medkits can be in pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up spots occasionally, and your teammates tend to get in the way occasionally but are generally somewhat useful.
multiplayer is DEAD as far as im aware, there are maybe one or two severs active at any given time.
the "call of duty warchest" bundle is actually a pretty reasonable price, since you get cod1/2 + uo expansion for just £20 which i had no problem with and is how i bought these games. definitely worth getting that bundle to play these.
