I would only get this game if you have the money to purchase most of the expansions. I only own the base game and a lot of things, such as public transportation, seem very broken without changes that came with later expansions. Typical Paradox game!

Their DLCs are pretty much required to enjoy the game. However, if you can catch the game on a good sale to get all of the DLCs, do it. The game is Risk x10000. I love it.

Purchased it, installed it, couldn't get through tutorial.

Bad programming was causing a GPU load of 100%, locking up my computer - even with all low graphics and a small 800x600 play window.

I have played every single Sid Meier's game that has been released to date and this is by far the most dissappointing of them all.

Resolution isn't correct on Windows, there is a gap at the bottom of the screen, and you can only play in full-screen. If you switch to windowed mode it goes to 4:3 aspect ratio. This cannot be changed.

There is no difference in gameplay between leaders.
There is no difference in gameplay between affinities.

Map size does not change tactical gameplay - it only increases the amount of time it takes to overrun everything.

I was able to complete 40% of the achievements within an hour of playing.

By far the most simple and horrible game I have played from Firaxis games to date. I think this was made for children on tablets.
