Pros:
+Good controls (I believe the dev updated them, old reviews seem less happy with them)
+Responsive movement
+Charming graphics
+Simple but solid storyline
+Combat, while not particularly difficult, feels punchy and fast-paced

Neutral:
Vehicle segments were a bit hit-or-miss, I enjoyed the spaceship bits but the submarine wasn't particularly fun, and the mech was fine but only iterated on the gameplay towards the end of its segment.
Palettes are a fun inclusion but I found myself using Mars the whole time as it was colourful but not too bright. An option for the palette to swap to a specific one based on the current area you're in would be cool.
Multiple characters seem cool but I just used one throughout 90% of the game as they were what I was used to. I suppose this could add to replay value if playing through the same game with a different moveset
appeals to you.

Cons:
-Being able to save throughout makes for an easier experience. Applying a personal restriction could make for more challenging gameplay, but the presence of instant-death obstacles really made me want to just save regularly.
-Difficulty mostly stems from the aforementioned instant-death obstacles, I rarely died to enemies.
-A personal gripe but I dislike hidden rooms that don't at least have a tell (or an item that highlights them obtainable later in the game).
-You can't return to your save after progressing to the bad ending. I believe this is the dev's intention but I would've liked to go back and fill out the map, but I can't see myself playing through the whole game again just for that.

Pretty much the benchmark for class-based, objective-oriented first-person shooters. A good time as long as you don't get too upset when some guy with a £1000 digital hat kills you for the twelfth time in a row.

Deadbolt is 2d stealth action shooter that feels incredibly cool to play, especially when the music kicks in when you finally get the hang of a tough level. The tight shooting, compelling story, and presence of a cat really make it a joy to play.

Mosa Lina is pretty chill as long as you don't mind hearing that funny little noise that plays when you die or reset a whole bunch. It's a lot of fun figuring out what all the items do and learning their limits.

Like a zelda game with a dark souls-esque coat of paint. music's great, art's great, combat's simple but smooth and enjoyable. story's a little on the cliche side but still perfectly serviceable. a lot of style and personality. would honestly appreciate it being a little longer for the price tag but nonetheless recommend.

Pretty fun metroidvania with some cool time travel mechanics. I find the levelling feature a little out of place as it lead to none of the bosses really posing a challenge, but i suppose that's on me for trying to kill every enemy to grace my screen (and I believe there's a game mode that imposes a level cap). If you enjoy this then I'd really recommend The Messenger, which has a similar vibe but more humour and less political intrigue.
