Honestly, how is anyone supposed to talk about why a game like this is so good? Well the only thing I can think of is to tell my favourite story about the game.

So at the time I had all the DLC (royalty, ideology, and biotech) and wanted to try out a hedonistic playthrough where my colonists are a drug cartel. Pick randy, pick a jungle, go with the default scenario, and start.

Everything is going well, colony is slowly growing and I've got a basic base going with my next task being to start drug manufacturing next. Do the research, plant the crops, get the workbenches ready. Thing is I hadn't set up a kill box, and despite being drug lords my colonists were more lovers than fighters so a raid comes along.

Get my three soldiers to meet them and they win but are they're badly hurt, one of them dies. Turns out, everyone liked that guy, so everyone is just a bit upset. It's a shame, I'll have one less person to fight back and have to deal with a bunch of hedonists in a bad mood, a burial should help.

It's a terrible burial. Mood drops some more. That's annoying, but so long as nothing bad happens I should be fine. Things start to recover slowly until Randy from up above decides to do a little trolling.

You see, playing this map made me wonder why everyone thought grasslands was the best map type. Jungle was grasslands but you didn't get winter and just had to deal with the heat. The ground was also more fertile and there were more animals. Randy told me why, diseases.

SO, just about everyone gets a parasite. Not lethal, but I wish it was since the guy who died was also the only doctor. I hadn't saved in a while so I had to bear the brunt of it with the only person even able to do doctoring having a skill of 2, which is terrible. At this rate recovery would take forever. Fine, I'll just wait. Which is fine for a bit, but boring. I guess Randy thought the same thing. I could imagine that maniac chuckling to himself after having some smokeleaf thinking, "dude, what if?" before pressing a big red button that says "raid".

Another raid comes, all my soldiers are in so much pain that they literally couldn't get out of bed to save their lives. The raiders came in, burnt a lot of the colony to the ground, and decided to just kidnap some poor sick colonist and then leave.

The few people who aren't too sick and are alive are so distraught between the mess, the death of colonists, how hot the jungle is, the kidnapping, not having a table to eat on, and everything else that they just break down. Most of them doing it while the colony is burning.

One person is still sane and healthy but miserable. She was going to break any minute now, and I knew that this colony was done for. So I locked her in her room and waited for everyone to calm down. I wanted the colony to perish on my own terms and for my amusement.

There was a chapel of hedonism where the colonists would gather to have sexy fun times and get high, a holy site for them. Had the colony prosper, it could have been a pilgrimage site for hedonists across the planet. Now, it was to be the final resting place for my colonists.

Somehow, the last sane colonists stayed sane enough to drag everyone into the chapel with wooden furnishings that survived the fire. I didn't have any chemfuel, rimworld's version of petrol, but I did have this game's version of a molotov which I scavenged off a dead raider.

Standing in the middle of the chapel near breaking point, surrounded by the people she loves and some of the people she hates, threw a molotov at the furniture.

The doors were locked and the fire grew, smoke filled the chapel and the temperature rised. She stood there for as long as she could bear it, the other colonists could only lie there sick and in pain as they watched. Temperature reached boiling point, then hot enough to burn paper, then clothing. The colonists' clothes caught on fire, she began to run around frantically trying to bust the door open. The chapel was the only building made out of stone, including the door. She never stood a chance. Not long after, she collapsed on the floor besides her other colonists. Though I made her do it, I like to imagine that she regretted her decision.

Enough of my colonists died that a mysterious stranger ran into the colony. Maybe he saw the smoke and thought someone needed help. When he got there, everyone was already charred. I made him leave, I wanted this colony to be finished so I could start over. For the mysterious stranger, I imagine that he didn't see a point in staying behind for corpses,; there wasn't even anything to bury.

Before he left, Randy played one more joke on me and the colony. A lost shipment of supplies landed on my map. I hovered over and the supplies were wood. The stranger crossed the wood that came from the sky, and he likely thought the place was cursed. I thought the same.

He went past the map boundary, and the game declared the base destroyed.

If that story appeals to you at all, buy it and play it. There's not many games like it, and mods will make this game infinitely replayable. This is my second most played game, and I can see myself playing it for thousands of hours. It easily could be the same for you.

I realize that it's an early access game but this must be one of the earliest of accesses I've ever played, basically in pre-alpha stage. It wouldn't bother me too much but the game is listed at £24.99 and the lack of content is really stark in contrast to the price.

The graphics are good for a porn game, the world is fairly interesting, and there is a skeleton of combat even if the design of the game is similar to your typical ubisoft action-adventure open world game. My main problem is the sex side of things, since that's the main reason I'd buy a game like this.

If you're straight or lesbian, you'll like this game more than I do. If you aren't straight or lesbian, this game doesn't offer much. If you like Futas then there's some content. Hardly any gay content. The game has been out for 3 years now and most of the new content is targeted to that demographic. With only 4 major updates a year I don't think there'll be much of a change for a while. There's nothing wrong with that, but that doesn't interest me and if you're like me then this game isn't for you and probably won't be for a long time. I'll check it out again when it's finished.

So I got this game for really cheap as it was on sale, and still it wasn't worth it.

The horror boiled down to spooky things happening around you while you're driving with little rhyme or reason or a garbled voice telling you how you will fail. I suppose if you're an easily scared streamer or youtuber the random horror moments and frustration will make for good content.

The gameplay is just you driving 30mph (you can drive faster but it will just get you killed) while avoiding random obstacles on the road like a corpse, a car spawning into existence a couple of feet in front of you, a car clipping through a train and smashing into you, birds, or someone throwing a bin at you. Also, if you make a mistake once and crash you go all the way back to the beginning of the game. There's no checkpoints.

I suppose it's an accurate simulation of driving in England at night at least.

The current state of TF2 is unplayable, especially if you play on Valve's official servers. People have made bots that will join your game and blatantly cheat by headshotting everyone, killing entire servers with just a couple of them. On top of that, they've been programmed to make it difficult to get rid of them, where they will constantly try to kick legitimate players before they get kicked.

This is a problem that has been going on for FIVE YEARS. Valve said they would fix it two years ago, and the bots are not only still here but worse than ever. It's unacceptable. So I'm putting this here to get their attention, to ask that they fix this problem. I don't want to see this game that I love go away because of people who have nothing better to do than ruin people's fun. #fixtf2

As a guy you can ♥♥♥♥ just about anything you can imagine in this game. Fox girls, dragons, centuars, tentacles, etc.

Except another guy. Can't do that, don't even have the option.

Hope there's a hot gay sex update soon.

It has flappy bird in it, so you actually get two games in one. So buy it.

This game is surreal.

Yeah it's fun and you feel like a badass when you kill several people with spells, but then you remember that you're a fifth year at Hogwarts. I killed so many goblins and poachers that I'm pretty sure I'd be considered a war criminal in the wizarding world. I have cast Avada Kedavra in front of professors who barely commented on it. My actions in game make me a dark wizard and should put me in Azkaban. But by the end of it I'm a hero who has saved Hogwarts.

And like, you can't blame me for my actions. I have an actual insurrectionist army actively trying to hunt me down along with gangs who will kill me on site. Where are the professors? There's even a cop who I meet AFTER killing a troll inside Hogsmeade. Like I understand that this is late 19th century Britian and child labour is still a thing, but who sends children after gang members and terrorists? The whiplash you feel when you just cursed several people using Crucio and Imperio only to have them all vapourised by Avada Kedavra and then several minutes later people telling you how much of a good person you are for saving birds or something.

That's the main takeaway I got out of it. Outside of that it's fine, pretty typical modern western RPG. If you've played any rpg past far cry 3 you know what to expect. Worth it for the dysfunctional levels of cognitive dissonance this game offers.

Well, it's a shame that it doesn't work since this was a childhood game of mine. Really annoying that steam will sell you games that don't actually work. Yeah there's a patch and I tried to get that to work but it didn't work for me for some reason. So don't bother buying it, it's a waste of your money since it will literally crash.

Have you ever gone to a really good Chinese resturant? Like, one so good that whenever you go to a different one you compare it and it leaves you disappointed? That is Elden Ring, but for gaming. Like all of it. Seriously this game came out three months ago and I have put over three hundred hours into it. That is a hundred hours a month. I spent 70 hours in the last two weeks on this game. I genuinely can't play any other game because half way through it I'll boot up Elden Ring and go through another playthrough. I have had three playthroughs that range from 50 hours to 140 hours and despite beating the game a couple of hours ago I am considering making a new character and going in again. With DLC I can easily see this being a game I sink thousands of hours into.

I got this with the rest of the DLC in a sales pack and it was cheaper to buy the sales pack than the individual DLC I actually wanted. This DLC and anarchy's children are pretty much the same, in that the fact they exist is puzzling. If I was to make a guess the out of touch corpos at 2K decided to appeal to people with too much money and a gaming addiction by including skin packs that add absolutely nothing to the game. I mean Jesus Christ these are cosmetics in a single player game why would you bother? You can't even flaunt your wealth off to people with financial sense like in TF2 it's just pointless. And I don't even know if the cosmetics are any good since I downloaded a couple of cosmetic mods and they offered the best looks for my squad. Unless you want to disappoint your parents just don't bother with this DLC or anarchy's children.
