the unique FOV, the soundtrack, the weight to the combat, the imagery... there are so many things to love about this game, and so many things to look forward to. a good investment since day 1.

this is one of those games that isn't perfect, probably never will be, and boy it doesn't have to be. it's fun, the building systems are entertaining, and i've kept coming back to it for years now. the dev team works hard on improving and shifting it toward a more polished game every year, and they succeed every time. the things that make it a stressful, difficult game can be dialed up to 11 or practically turned off. there's so much freedom to play it how you want to play it, and find the experience that's perfect for you whether you play solo, with friends, or host a big competitive server.

All the best of Left 4 Dead, updated to modern gaming. I'm so excited to see where this game goes.

This is everything you've been waiting for if you played the original Zoo Tycoon and haven't been satisfied since.

This game is going to go places. In the last week before writing this review, it's gotten two updates with content implementation; as of 9/23/20 it's still VERY early access, and you do feel that, but I'm happy with the purchase and expect it to get better and better over time.

Crafting is fun, combat is fun, exploration is fun, there are bugs and glitches abound that are very rarely gamebreaking and are constantly being worked on. Definitely worth supporting these devs into making their BOTW-inspired dreams come true.
