Also using dual vykes is fighting normal as well, since its strong but has counters, (for example, if a dual vykes uses their L1 running attack, you can set up a parry by getting hit by the first 2 ticks and then parrying the third).
And if its the status buildup that you have an issue with, that sounds like a skill issue, since you obviously didn't switch to the clarifying horn charm upon seeing the dual vykes, and also didnt use any clarifying boluses.
